I have heard NO-OX-ID Special A is good foe lubricating the threads. I just used regular grease from my gun but Noalox and NO-OX-ID are impregnated with powdered metal for better conductivity. There is also copper grease. There are different opinions on Noalox. Many people swear by it and othere say it is ineffective even damaging. I have always used some form of lubricant on the threads though.View attachment 740533 They do require maintenance as in keeping contacts cleaned. But they are awesome.

Just don't combine materials that would lead to galvanic corrosion I guess. SS mod + copper paste or aluminium particle paste would be fine but a copper mod with aluminium particle paste or an aluminium mod with copper paste would likely damage themselves. Many people swear by them and othere say they are ineffective even damaging

That will also work. Dielectric grease is also recommended. Not conductive but won't block the current either. I have never noticed any voltage drop from my axle grease so I don't know how much difference it really makes.Used just a thin coat of gun oil from my finger and then wiped, only on the bottom thread of the dreamer and cartel
THAT I do have. Saves making another purchaseUsed just a thin coat of gun oil from my finger and then wiped, only on the bottom thread of the dreamer and cartel
The prices are cheaper too. Dielectric is used for automotive electrical parts as well. It is probably the same thing.Probably battery terminal grease would also work.
Yeah forgot that... You dont have to grease it I just like to. Makes the threads sooooo smoooooth and prevents the threads from wearing out in 25 years. Take the Ammit to jury duty. It will keep you from getting bored.Y’all didn’t tell me I had to grease the darn thing. It’s going in the closet until I’ve read up on everything pertinent. Except the ammit...I’m building that tomorrow if I don’t have jury duty
I used mechs forever before I ever bothered to grease one. It just caused me to have to clean the threads more often. Usually with alcohol and a rag, lightly with a brass bore brush if I waited a bit and let it get nasty.Y’all didn’t tell me I had to grease the darn thing.
