I used mechs forever before I ever bothered to grease one. It just caused me to have to clean the threads more often. Usually with alcohol and a rag, lightly with a brass bore brush if I waited a bit and let it get nasty.

Love my Brasso. It is all I use.

You realize you just got a new hobby, right?:)
More like my “hobby” just exploded into a full blown free for all. Anything goes now. Except a squonker. I can have one in June, if I could find one that’s not soooooo boxy

The prices are cheaper too. Dielectric is used for automotive electrical parts as well. It is probably the same thing.

Yeah forgot that... You dont have to grease it I just like to. Makes the threads sooooo smoooooth and prevents the threads from wearing out in 25 years. Take the Ammit to jury duty. It will keep you from getting bored.
Well, in 25 years I’ll be 80. Pretty sure it’ll outlast me

Man, I have this pic of me, age 3 at the Natural History museum with my hand inside a jar containing a cockroach wherever it is they grow largest. I'm just STARING at it, as it clambers all over my hand, but in this non-judgmental, serene kind of way.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to that kid (well, my mom happened, I usually say, LOL) but I sort of wish I could summon her at will, because man, I was fearless and in this serene, non-judgmental way.

In fact, one of my most uncomfortable moments was meeting up with one of my early babysitters who went on and on about what an adorable, loving kid I was, "Buddha-like!" she said, going on about how anything could happen, and I "understood, in this deep, philosophical" way as a young adult. I had to actually pretend to live up to that person, I didn't want to burst her bubble and etc. LOL.

Being the "golden child" really sucks, in retrospect. Of course, my mom did take me to the doctor when I was about one, she thought I was "......ed" and needed to rule it out. LOL the doctor told my mom she had never heard such a "complaint" before, but man, I used to be really chill.

Now you are completely immersed in this. That is a great thing. DIY, Building coils, and now a mechanical. I guess I jumped in the deep end really early on, so that is what vaping always was for me. Practice makes perfect and you will be pro in no time. I just realized that after my wife took my J80 I only have 2 regulated devices left lol...
And the pretty squonker, I can help with that.:)
