Mine is only the 166. Not the newest one, because I’m cheap like that and I also don’t need the power on the newest one. Kind of regretting it though because the screen on the new one is nice.View attachment 742219

Oh but that’s so pretty!! Love the colors!!

I have never done a firmware download before and need to start. I am jumping in. Hope it is self explanatory
Easy as pie, there are instruction and a video right on the Minikin V2 page where you get the firmware.

will it give us this choice in the update?
It is an extra menu item, you get to choose between the regular Swipe and the new Tap. I like the swipe but try out the tap, you can always switch back. The only problem I found was the fire lock got out of sync if you used the button to lock it and three taps on the screen to unlock, you had to do it twice.

The little pad lock on the screen now tells you if your swipe unlocked the screen or not, I find it quite handy for unlocking.

@jfcooley You mentioned "Audiophile" foolishness a while ago...

This is a bit of the full on ......ed crap that some of these Audiophool's believe in.
Brilliant COPYRIGHTDMCA Advanced Audio Video Tweak

You tape little bags of COPYRIGHTDMCA to your cables or place them around the room etc...

Seems like we are all in the wrong business, there is a ton of this type of snake oil crap out there that people are willing to part with big money for...

At one time they sold mini discs that were just mini blank cd-rs and you were supposed to run your cables through them to increase dynamic range. LOL!
What horse picket.

My Beana is getting old now, she doesn't mind vapor, she sure did hate it when I smoked.
View attachment 742235 she also hates having her pic taken.
why do they all do that? I know they do not know it is a camera but all three of mine will be looking right at me for hours end and as soon as they see the camera they look straight down :(

The latest firmware (V40) for the Minikin V2 adds a three click total lock as well as a bunch of other stuff.

My PC will not let me open this. It tries through Adobe and then says it is not supported. Do I have to download that 7ZIp to do it? Not too much a computer savvy person. Talk to me like I am 4 years old PLEASE :)

Recent Windows and Mac versions can do it natively. Which version you using?
