Where in the hell are my packages?
Freaking tracking says in route to destination but expected today?

There are not enough words to say how much I HATE the USPS. My drop hasn't updated for 3 days, expected past Tuesday. B2K today, no idea where it is, hasn't updated 2 days. Another item sitting in FL for 3 days.

Bah!
If only a minor consolation, please take comfort in the fact that there are no more federal holidays between now and Memorial Day, the last Monday in May.

I guess I need to break down and finally join you folks in this thread, Been in denial WAY too long, lol

I'm irritated as hell today, no vape mail. Currently have 5 packages I'm following. None of them show a single update today.

Two packages should have come today and according to tracking, never even made it to my post office after leaving USPS regional destination facility this AM. CRAP. These were my first two squonkers. Mail truck with down the street today and NOTHING. :( Figured I needed to come here to complain as my friend looked at me like I'm crazy when I said the USPS truck from Atlanta to Athens probably got in an accident.

I realize we're having winter weather issues here in the south (and other places as well), but come on.....

Maybe I'll be lucky and they'll arrive tomorrow, but it looks like the other three that should come tomorrow and Sat have no USPS updates either.

Tell me I'm not the only person here that's sick in the head???

This isn't a review of the new Asmodus Zesthia, just my first observations on trying it out. It is, without a doubt, the easiest build deck I have ever used. The "hot dog" style deck is a snap. Easy gold plated grub screws that work with a standard Allen key, the coil slips right into place. There are 4 posts but it is designed for a single coil. There is enough room for any size coil you want to put into it.

The flavor is wonderful. This tank can be used as mouth to lung or dtl as there it has juice flow control. I have the controls closed for DTL with the airflow wide open. Nice, really, really nice.

You can adjust the juice flow by turning the glass and so far, it has not leaked one tiny little bit, even on refill. I am glad I got the adapter for the DT because I prefer a nip tip over the included wide bore tip.

Zesthia Main Features:

  • Innovative Hotdog Style Build deck
  • Impressive 4.5ml juice capacity
  • Easy to use top filing system
  • Chimney has a tightened top piece which condenses flavor
  • Gold Plated Grub Nuts
  • Easy to build deck; the coil wraps around the post perfectly.
  • Special Seafoam Green O-Rings made of more durable material
My first impression - I like this tank a lot. No negatives at all yet. Some might come up, but so far, I am very happy. I still think Asmodus should include a DT adapter but that was an inexpensive fix. Still, it would have been nice.

Therion 166 arrived today, put the Zeus on it and liking this set up better than Gaia/Zeus set up. Keep knocking the Gaia over. Maybe I'll put a rda on it. Like the mod, but it is shorter than I'm used to.

I thought you already had a Therion 166. Put a Crius II on it and should be a good fit, IMO. What colorway did you get?

Congrats on the Therion. I've been eyeing them myself.

Yeah the Gaia sure is purdy, but I have issues with knocking mine over too. Short and wide. Nice curves around the edges, but doesn't give a lot of room for it to sit still and behave.

I do already have a Therion 166, now I have two and a 133. I'm a junkie:facepalm:. I have Nanos on two and put the Zeus on the new 166, purple ostrich door. Crius 2 will eventually land on the Gaia I think.

For you tank users in here that are already rebuilding, I'm curious about what's kept you from making the jump to squonking. I'm notoriously anti-tank for myriad reasons, but in my mind, the single most compelling reason to swap for tank users is simple and drastic height reduction (and thus less 510 strain).

Simple lack of options right now? Need more power or regulated choices? What's keeping you from making the switch at the moment?

Simplicity. Two or three times a day I fill my tank. Once a day I change my battery. The rest of the time I just hit a button or bar and get a good vape. When I want a stealthier vape I use a device with a step-down for the tank, keeping things small and pocketable.

There has always been a segment of the vaping market that preferred bottom feeders. IMO the vaping market has gotten stagnant except for flashier screens, bluetooth, etc., to the point that squonking has become an interesting novelty at this time. Manufacturers are happy to pump out a bunch of varieties as long as there is an a renewed interest.

Different strokes for different folks!

No time to read.

What the hell is a hotdog style build deck, cause I've some mental images that arent pretty.
Glad to see you're getting a giggle from my distress.
Hot dog style is just a curvier SMM deck.

Looks great, but the deck is not innovative, has been done several times by other companies. Love that found yourself a new gold shiny Pam.

It is innovative for Asmodus. ;) This is the first tank I have owned with that kind of deck. I am happy that it is so simple. Love that! This will be my go-to tank for the next week or so. I have to use it to decide if it is my favorite.

I am enjoying my Therion 75c. I have a Zeus on it now but will start switching tanks around just to see what works best. I have a Purple Ostrich door for it but am using the Black Elephant now so the black Zeus was a natural fit. I think I will put the Lost Africa door on it and try it out with a rainbow Crius II. Love the versatility.

My Pico Squeeze/Wasp Nano combo is great. I'm on it as I type. No "buts."

Advantages:
  • Dripping flavor without dripping
  • Reduced profile (height, as you put it) better for portability
  • No leaking
  • Easier wicking because drippers don't have to prevent flooding
  • No glass to break

Disadvantages:
  • Removing the bottle to refill = bottom-fill tank hassle
  • Flavor improvement over well-built tank is marginal
  • Limited temp control options at/below my $50 device cost ceiling
  • Puncture risk with exposed soft bottle
  • Requires BF atomizer not likely to be used on a non-squonker
My experience is good enough to put another squonker on the potential future acquisitions list. I will likely buy a couple more devices in the near future and if one is a squonker I'll be happy (as long as its problem is unrelated to its method of delivery). But my experience is not good enough for a squonker to shove its way to the top of the list.

And what I find really funny is that the guy who owns the Titan setup is maybe 5'3". The damned tank is as big as his head

Indeed, and thanks for the insight. Seems like a variant of Anna's reply, i.e. what you have works and there's no major pull to shake things up. I've just always been curious, partly because of bias (seriously, I can't stress enough how much I hate tanks), but mostly because I'm blind to any downsides.

A fine conversion speech. But I'm long since converted. Heheh, got this one backwards, hombre. :toast:
