I'm not so worried about extra height, but I'm fairly certain that if one of my 510 connections needs remediation, the husband can do that. He OFFERED to do it with a pin that went wonky on me, but I wasn't the hugest fan of the tank to begin with so I merely replaced it.... For far less than the cost of a squonker setup I might add....

If this is going to be the "year of the Squonker" I'm going to wait a bit and see what glorious gems rise to the surface of the squonk-pool as it were. But, I really, really enjoy rotating flavors though, there is THAT.

All I have purchased in the past week or so are some new batteries, some battery wraps, and some 810 to 510 DT adapters for one Shinyitus purchase I did make - the Asmodus Zesthia RTA in Gold. I honestly couldn't help myself.
I keep seeing people mention 810. What is 810? I know about 510, 801, 808, etc. But, I've never heard of 810. I would assume it was a mistake. But, I've seen it several times now.

Thank God. Remind me to never order anything from your zip code. I hear the service there sucks
Actually wife sends stuff out all the time and gets positive feedback.

I really can't do anything right now. No idea where they are and USPS requires week before claim. Damnit, B2K was supposed to be today.

@DancingHeretik , 810 size referrences are drip-tip-connection specific, while 510 can refer to either the drip-tip-connection size or the atty-to-mod connection.

Exactly. 810 refers to the outer diameter of the tip's base. You'll most likely have heard it referred to as a Goon-style (or Kennedy-style, or "grennedy") drip tip before. It's become a loose standard though, so 810 lets everyone avoid branding the format.

More like the chuff cap style?

Essentially, except "chuff cap" is kind of outmoded. Once that style of cap started to take off, the format solidified somewhat and (likely due to simple popularity), rested on the Goon's design (810).

The first mainstream chuff cap I can remember was the Royal Hunter, and I believe it was quite significantly wider than an 810, if memory serves.

I did a lot of online shopping when I lived in Charlottesville and never had a problem. Do you think your delays could be weather related? I have noticed that is usually noted in the tracking but they do miss things when hitting buttons and checking boxes. I got fantastic service from USPS when my nip tips from Trinity were "surrendered to military agent" and I was expecting a fully armed battalion to show up at my door. o_O Try emailing USPS Customer Service - that worked very well for me. They called me within 12 hours with an update. BTW, I still live in VA but am in the DC Metro area.

I am sorry that I confused you but I guess I thought everyone would know I was referring to the DT. The Zesthia has only an 810 opening for the DT and I like smaller DTs so bought adapters. For the price, they should include them, as GeekVape does with the Zeus. I am a fan of Asmodus products and feel they are customer friendly. Maybe this tank isn't really meant for my kind of vaping and I will find out soon. It is here and I gave it a rinse. Once it is dry, I will coil and wick it then report back.

How the Hell did I miss that Gaia??? It's gorgeous :hubba: and (of course) I would choose the silver, but I'm tapped out for a while.
It is a lovely mod, mine is silver. It's a Smoant so has a nice weight to it as well. Just not working for me with the Zeus up top. Maybe the Crius 2...
