Cut my hair once myself, never again.

I have had my hair cut at salons, but I do a better job of it. My husband never went to a barber once since we met, but he had lovely curly hair. I knew how to get it just to that length where it would not stick out all weird.

I guess if we had something more upscale than Fiesta or Quick cuts or the old lady who makes me look like Loretta Lynn in the 70s, I’d have better luck lol.

The first time I DYED my hair (in HS) well, full steam ahead without much research (as usual) at that time. Heh. Midnight black from like CVS. I truly looked awful. I decided to just SHAVE it and grow it out.

My (then) BF broke up with me for it, he said I "Looked like a little boy." LOL, I thought I looked like a gypsy princes (I really look fine bald). I later found out his mom and dad were "Married but the gentleman was gay." Interesting family, I guess I could understand his concern. Also, it was a lucky escape.

ALSO they had a decrepit, 500 year old dog that smelled WORSE and farted MORE than any pet I'd ever encountered. I was always creeped out when he petted it, and it could barely move.

Lucky escape, I'd say. I since learned to dye well, but man, it's too much WORK. I just decided to treat my grey hair like platinum blonde highlights.

I had my first grays in my teens. Always colored my hair as an adult till I hit 50. It just got to be too much, it would grow out at the temples in a few days. I just kept cutting it until all the colored ends were gone, then I let it grow out. It’s about 85% white and to my waist.

People ask me where I had it done. Um, I don’t hate it, but why anyone would pay for this I don’t know!

I would love to be able to do either, quit dying or grow it out. I have baby fine, dead straight hair. By the time my youngest was born when I was 30, it was 75% no longer brown. My grandmother had beautiful white hair. Mine is like fishing line, see through. So, I dye it. Not ready to expose my pink scalp to the world
@lupinehorror , breaks my heart to see beautiful long hair like that get mowed off. Long hair is sexy

Depends on the hair lol. Hubby‘s nickname for me was Medusa. I couldn’t disagree with that. I loved my hair short, but there again, too much upkeep. Cutting every 3 weeks, blow drying, goo and spray... no more. Wash and ponytail and the hell with what it looks like.

Morning all, did anyone else get the email from DNA with new stuff?
All I can say is huh, uh ok.
USonicig Rhythm Ultra Portable Kit | Vape Kits

I like that companies are trying new things but really.....
Ultrasonic vaporization.......
Ok interesting idea, but its advertising 2.4 Mhz. Well I guess that's ok as long as you don't need wifi when you take a hit.
Come on man.
Rant over.

Oh and what I do with a tube mod on the weekend is my business!

You'll get more interference from your microwave, lol.

Grew up with the C-64, Atari 2600. Multiplayer meant you owned 2 comtollers and had to go to someone's house. Back in the day 12-16 of us would LAN the original Xbox and play Halo all night. A lot of fun. LAN parties are the only way to do multiplayer.

I did LAN parties for PC with the original Counterstrike before wireless. We'd cram all of our furniture into the dining room and garage and set up long tables. PCs, pizza, CAT 5, and beer cans everywhere.
We'd play for 3 or 4 days straight, lol.
Since the advent of consoles, I haven't played games much. I used to buy games for myself and either my son would wind up playing them, or they would sit in the plastic.
I've played some with my son, but other than that I just kinda gave it up years and years ago.

I'm afraid I may be one reason cosmetology licenses area good thing. LOL.

I think many of us fit that bill.
Luckily my oldest daughter has her cosmetology license, and cut my hair better than anyone else.
It was also convenient. Too bad she moved to South Dakota to go attempt adulting. :(

I don't dye my hair, I earned every single one of my gray hairs (of which there are MANY).
Plus, I'm lazy. :D
