You'll get more interference from your microwave, lol.
Untrue
Deal with that crap all the time.
Standard b/g/n wifi is in 2.4Mhz.
Had an old man with a small leather shop that had wifi issues. Long and short he is one of the folks that will absolutely use something till it breaks then replace it. He had a 2.4 cordless phone still. He never put the 2 together that when he was on the phone his laptop barely worked. Had him load a YouTube video and called him, imagine that it started buffering, hung up and played right.
That's just one example.
(I work with business internet etc..)
Although depending on how strong the broadcast from the mod is it could be fun to sit in the middle of the hipsters at Starbucks and just keep firing it lol.

Mine is just really light blonde!:lol:

Mine is so short it looks blonde until I turn my head and the light hits it at an angle.
I get comments all the time about how people never noticed I had so much gray.

Natural oil seems to make it look more blonde, right after shampoo it's mostly white!

I had my first grays in my teens. Always colored my hair as an adult till I hit 50. It just got to be too much, it would grow out at the temples in a few days. I just kept cutting it until all the colored ends were gone, then I let it grow out. It’s about 85% white and to my waist.

People ask me where I had it done. Um, I don’t hate it, but why anyone would pay for this I don’t know!
That.

Is.

Sexy.

Morning shinIes :D

Just washed my mop. Its way too long and way too curly and dark.

Got 2 fasttech orders coming, one has just left China  one is still stuck there :tumble:
Nobody seems to like their hair, if its straight they want waves, and vice versa. Grass always greener, etc. Long, dark and curly sounds terrific:)

It is very true.
(I too work with it all the time from a security standpoint)
A microwave, cordless phone, etc. are going to generate WAY much more electromagnetic interference than a tiny little mod will.
A microwave operates at 2450 mHz.
Which is going to interfere more?
A mod with very low wattage or a 1000 watt microwave?
Microwaves have long been known to interfere with 2.4 wireless networks, even though they are "shielded".

2.4 is not controlled by the FCC so TONS of devices operate in this range, that is why anything functioning in that range needs extremely robust interference protection.

Yeah I meant more sitting vaping while on phone or laptop.
Most people are surprised at how many things interfere with wifi, and figuring out what it is is no easy task.

With the advent of newer communication protocols and IC algorithms the interference is minimal, but still there.
Luckily, EMI would be expected to drop off according to the inverse square law, so at 20 inches it would be down by about a factor of 100.

As long as you are not using static allocation, the interference potential is minimal.

See, I'm not just another pretty face. I know, you know......stuff. :D

Women......still a mystery, albeit a pleasant one.

Well... I failed to remain strong yet again. Pulled the trigger on an Aegis Legend and Recurve. I'm pathetically weak.

Not weak at all. You needed them both to stop you from buying something else potentially more expensive.:)

I have 2.4 phones AND microwave.b/g/n. Haven't noticed any degradation of the wi-fi, but my use isn't very demanding or critical, either. Netflix only needs a fairly small slice.

See my above post.
At most, it would only slow your network a very SMALL fraction. Doubt you would notice.
It's way more prevalent in an environment with many many devices in the area generating a lot of EMI, such as a business environment.

It also occurs more with older microwaves and phones.

I wasn't necessarily saying you would notice it, just that a microwave will indeed interfere more than a mod.
