Good morning folks! Tracking says my aegis should arrive Saturday. Weather says clear and mid 80s so I want to get all my chores done and play in the pool. And I have an Amazon order coming today, nothing shiny, but it does include Michael Connelly ‘s The Black Echo, some nice summer reading by the pool, if the dogs allow.

Morning shiny folks. LOL. Woke up late (yay!) Spending the afternoon and evening with the kiddo (yay)! I kinda don't want to leave the house but the amount of time I can spend with the kiddo grows limited, I think. We are having dinner and TV.
Interview yesterday went okay. It was not as stellar as my first one, frankly, but that just so happened to be because the person in charge of mental health services at the jail, well, she was nice, clearly had mad organizational skills but she wasn't a social worker like the first lady and also still doing her supervision hours. I had to be really careful to not know too much more than her.
I think this job will work IF I can get my cunning plan past HR. Because, to retain certain things I need, well, I gotta work 16 hours minimum to be part time, and the problem with that will be, how can I get them to give me my desired salary (about a bit less than half what I a worth). HR hates that because then they think you have no buy in and etc., but slightly less than half is going to be pretty close to the amount it would cost to get healthcare for two people. I'm going to SUGGEST that, it would solve a LOT of problems. Have to see if it will work, etc.
IDK. We'll see. I'm glad I cancelled the other one, because frankly I have no desire to "spend" my 9 months of return to work on watching 4 kids for 4 12 hour days, I really don't. If I nanny I am going to go part time and even at the top of the nannying scale (unless you live in in some prestigious place and UGH NO) I should be fine finances wise. Got a few of those type interviews coming up, etc.

My STM finally arrived from China yesterday. It got a status of sent to a different address because of forwarding instructions. Turned out it had just been sent from my PO to a different PO by mistake. Altogether it spent 6 days cruising around Indianapolis. Apparently they don't have any status options for situations where they make a mistake so they pick one at random.
I fired it up this morning with the 1.2ohm coil at 12W. That's a pretty tasty vape. I'll try the RTA head when the drop-in wears out.
I did a forum search on subtank mini and got 5000 hits. So far I've read a bunch of short threads and picked up some ideas.
Looks like wicking has to be just right on the RTA to avoid leaks and other problems.
Question about getting the glass off. I couldn't get it off this morning. Didn't want to spend too much time on it or use a lot of force. I saw a few mentions of the dental floss trick to get the glass off. Anyone know what that is?
