I went through a bankruptcy more then 15yrs ago and I have never had a CC since they are evil and a tool the rich use to have it's victims volentairily go into indentured servitude virtually forever.
Not always. I have three, had them for years. Only use one and pay in full at the end of the month. If I cannot do that I do not charge anything. It is all in discipline. In EVERYTHING in life. Learn discipline and you have got life licked.

I cannot buy anything for a couple of months. I bought and sent my dad a recliner/lift chair for his birthday. When I am lusting over shiny things I want, I will have to look at him in a pic in his recliner. First chance I have had in life to do something grandiose for a parent. I left Northern Cal with a permanent pic in my head of him trying to stand up and having such a hard time. His birthday is July 7th and he will be 86.

Agree for the most part. I actually save a lot buying with a cc online because I get what’s on my list, no Little Debbie temptations. I save at least $100 a month without those impulse buys and I eat better too. I keep track of my balance so I don’t spend more than I can afford.

But I also see how a person can have an emergency they don’t have money saved for, and it’s tough to pay off with the interest piling on.

But like my pool expenses, they came out of the blue. Had to be fixed. Luckily I had a bit of savings or that would have been charged. Lucky I have enough income to put up a little most months, some for the property taxes, some for holidays, some for vet bills, etc.

That is so sweet! My mom will be 88 this September.

AsMODus Lustro 200W Mod

Wonder if this is a good deal? Seeing it elsewhere for $79.
Asmodus.com - they have most of the colors in stock.
15% off and free shipping
Coupon: fire15
around $67.00 shipped
8Vape has them for $59.00, but almost $9.00 in shipping and not all the colors in stock.

My finances are about the same. I have enough of everything I need and then I have some excess and it covers extra's. I hate paying interest to ANYBODY for ANYTHING. Why give my money to someone else when it can be in my pocket. Have never in my life had a car payment. Just save and buy a slightly used and pay cash. My animals never go without and that is an expense that is unpredictable. I did apply for, and received a CARE credit card. Can be used for vet bills with almost no interest if you pay in the way you agree. I will use this if I ever have an enormous vet bill because I would not put something like that on a regular credit card for fear I might have to pay the bank interest. I hate the banks and their thievery. They will not pay me anything on CD"s or interest on savings yet they gouge others and take so much money from them in interest.
