Don't let the looks throw you off. I'm looking for a Recurve, too. Wait, I said I was good for hardware. You people are a bad influence.:p I thought this was a 12 Step Vapers Group:laugh:
Nope we are a one step bunch of talented enablers. You btw are falling quite nicely into the enabler role.

ROI? It is a labor of love....one I'm not so lovey dovey with. What I really mean is, I think DIY is great but I wish I had more ambition and drive like some people I know. I also lack the patience when it comes to long steepers. I will say this, once you finally get the hang of it and can make a few recipes as your ADVs, it's easy to make a large batch that will last you awhile. My soul advice (and I wish I followed it, myself) is to follow the advice of your mentors because they do know what they're talking about. It will save much time and money.
I cheat my impatience... I mix a few snv’s to distract me while others steep. It gives them a fighting chance!

So other than trial and error what else determines if a juice needs to steep or not and for how long? I read somewhere that steeping requires that you shake the liquid once per week or more
Simply put, most fruit flavors can be SnV. The bakery, creams, etc., not so much. Or sometimes if you have many flavors that need time to meld.

Totally dependant on brand and flavor. Some are good off the shake and some need a month or more.

Why thank you. You have quite the seductive talent yourself. I should have been asleep 2 hours ago and I can't get out of this thread!

I’m possibly wrong... mine go in the back of my vape closet, dated for their “release” date. ELR has good information on %, steep times and recipes with each flavor. Or, do what I do, and ask the experts on the random diy thread.

So do you just taste them from time to time to see?
Just when no ones looking . ( I did say I was impatient.) I have found most of the time, if they say steep, they mean it. Juice may be “ok” earlier, but not close to what it is when it’s ready. A few have been nasty until they got to their date. Taught me a lesson!

Does anyone have the Ghoul rda? On sale for 15.00 and wondering if it's worth picking up?
Funny you should ask. I just put a new coil and wick in mine. I love it. I followed a tip from Mike Vapes. He said to make sure a portion of the bottom of the coil can be seen thru the front air inlet hole, it helps with the flavor. I would recommend giving it a shot. I first had my coil too high, and didn;t have any flavor, I dropped it down and the flavor is alot better.

That was my thoughts too, I was wrong. So much easier and to wash up if you premix your nic base and mix in bottle. Some days I only have to wash my haND mixer.
Sounds great. I think it's time. Now to find the best thread to learn.

I can't really mix very much right now because I'm going to be moving weekend after next. So, now's a good time for research instead of action.

Thanks Jim, might go a head and pick it up. I'll watch the vid tomorrow .
