Welp, I guess all this side fire business is backburnered for a while. I just ordered a black cerakote copper Purge B2B V3 with a matching Carnage rda. That black cerakote on copper looks pretty sick, IMO. The deck on the Carnage is kind of an oddball design but it does look really nice on the mod.

I've got a guy that I get a lot of my gear from who gives me some pretty great deals. He shaved a good chunk off retail on this one and I always get free priority shipping.

Baby lamb, always so cute ! I can't wait.

I also thoroughly washed and soaked both my gunmetal Sirens in Vodka/dove again, and changed the O-rings and drip tips and like, they're a lot better. I still think the driptip is making the difference, mainly but if there was anything ON those atomizers left it is entirely gone.

Meh, gotta leave the house today, I guess it's good practice, I HOPE. No yoga today, even though I kind of WANT to now, I mean I'm like "Why was I depriving me of this endorphin-y goodness for so long?"

Still can't shake the residual worry that just clings to me like dryer sheets man, I just can't I hope I don't have to wait like forever and a day. Who knows with this place. Makes financial planning hard. At least I got the HR lady to take me off the Jail's HR site.

That was the first post of unread this morning and it took me 2 minutes to realize humpday was yesterday and it wasn't really Wednesday again.

Good morning all! Some juice and coils landing today and some more 3 mg juice just ordered for that Fireluke mesh. I can't keep trying to vape 6 mg in it. I have to be able to stand up for more than 5 minutes without feeling like I need to pass out.
Tried 3, mixing 1.5 today.

I can almost tolerate the 6 if I really space the draws out. Hoping the 3 does it because I really want to go for a "let's fog out the whole back garden and see how long it takes to dissipate" vape.

Well it's been two days, my Tarot mini is dead. I do understand why electronics do this, but it's always so discouraging to look at something "working" when you fish it out of whatever, and you turn it off and dry it and it's the right thing to do I guess but all the water then seeps into the electronics and after it's all dried out and probably dead.

I s'pose I could try charging it but oh, IDK, it's an internal battery mod so I'm not exactly sure if I want to try that. I did rearrange all my like coffee table stuff. It's not any more neat, but much less likely to encounter coffee incidents as there is now a larger distance between my coffee table and my coffee.

Plug it in and see if it charges, but don't go far when it is charging, you never know it might come back to life.

If it doesn't start working again in a day or two, try pouring the battery compartment full of rice, close the battery door, and let it sit in a drafty place for a few days. Turn it once in a while to let trapped water move. The rice will absorb the moisture and maybe it will start working. Past that, the only thing to do is take it apart and see if there's trapped water inside. Electronics generally respond to the rice thing, but maybe there's liquid water covering the circuit board. Quality boards generally have an epoxy coating. If that doesn't work, get out your credit card and replace it!

Okay I guess I'll give it a shot. I just put on a mudmask as a route to bathing (man, it's been so dark and gloomy here lately! Like, for days. I miss the searing heat of the summer, LOL, I know I'm a freak, but give me sunshine and WHATEVER temperature compared to gloom and like, rain.)

So yeah, I'm not going anywhere for a bit. I might as well liven up my day. I hope what I need is actually THERE. The good secretary finally resigned at my doc's office, and last time we met he was like, "Oh you can always call if you need a refill," and did not mention like, that he is out of the country until the 30th, not to mention spelling my name incorrectly on some of my scripts (this is bad if it's a controlled substance, man, and also giving me 30 day instead of 90 day supplies.)

So now we have the ditzy secretary, and I emailed Friday. I called her Tuesday, and she was like, "Oh, I just always don't get to emails," and I was like  and had to explain my problem(s). The other secretary is (I think, as the COOL secretary told me she was "Mrs. Mydoc's name after I was complaining, at length and I don't know if she was messing with me, seriously) well I now treat the other secretary with Grave Dignity but she's also a bit incoherent. But, I SO NEED to not break in another psychiatrist just now, that I spent 20 minutes on the phone explaining.

So yes, about to PLUG IN. LOL.

Not shinyitis, but interesting. I was going through my vaping stuff looking for something and ran across a pack of nicotine test strips I ordered from Amazon over a year ago. I never tried one. I did today and at 6mg/9ml juice a day, i tested as a smoker!

Oh well, the insurance rate scare that came with Obamacare never materialized. I bought them for that and it turned out not to be an issue. Doctors aren't testing for Nic and ratting us out for high smoker insurance rates after all.

Holy goodness, I just remembered that I turned it off as I was drying it out! LOL, once I realized that it was all happy to prove to me that it still loved me, it still remembered my settings, and that it was charging.

Way to go Vapresso! It's a tarot mini so there are no battery compartments actually, and the whole thing looks press fitted together. I would never dare to try and prise it apart, or anything, so I don't think rice would've worked, that thing is basically a solid BRICK. So, now that my tarot is back, well, I have like 14 setups again because all my Sirens are vapable now and etc.

    I realize this is overkill.

But trust me, honestly, I have plenty more stuff just SITTING in the vape closet. What I really need now are like, more batteries, but I am fearful of so doing ATM, I don't want to spend money on ANYTHING.

Soon, I will get batteries, I guess I could dig out that P3 I don't want and place it somewhere that will not charge me a fee for not selling it. I am not the most "skillful" seller on Ebay, to put it mildly. But, I bet I could list it for a fair price and like, buy batteries and etc.

Electronics generally respond to the rice thing
For the love of balls, I wish this stupid myth would die already. Short summary:
Do not try to dry your device with rice, either by putting rice in it or putting it in a bag of rice, it just doesn't work.
Water evaporates better in dry air than when it's surrounded by rice so it will dry slower with rice (Mooch even did an experiment with wet sponges and different drying methods, rice comes out at the bottom). On top of that you do not want the water to dry, you want to displace it (eg with iso alcohol), drying over time just does more damage.

This is common knowledge amongst people who
    -work with microelectronic boards
    -repair boards with water damage
so I won't start a discussion or listen to anecdotes, just letting everyone know so this fairy tale can finally die.
I've written something longer in two/three other threads already no need to repeat everything.
