I personally don't understand buying urns or burial plots for cremains. Plant a tree and scatter them in the dirt.
I carted around my brothers and 2 dogs ashes forever. Then my mom died and now I had her ashes. Finally went to the beach, Santa MOnica in California, a place my mom used to take my brother and me, am scattered them out to sea. Did the dogs after that. There could be no end to the number of ashes one could accumulate in a lifetime.

Story on the news tonight...teens are using the other more evil smokable weed in vape gear. Nicotine plus drugs! And they’re doing it in epidemic droves. All because the FDA has failed to criminalize vaping.:-x:facepalm::-xApparently there was zero studies/polling done in the late 70’s... back when teachers could smoke during class, schools had smoking lounges for students and other stuff was smoked at home because parents couldn’t smell it over the haze from their unfiltered camels. BT is getting more desperate by the moment to rally the masses to get rid of vaping so they can get back to murdering us with stinkies
I was born in 1959 and I think I burst from the womb into a cloud of nic smoke. Everyone smoked at home, bridge parties on the weekdays with the neighborhood ladies and they all smoked, My dad and his friends in the den, drinking and smoking, us kids did not stand a chance of not being nuked by second-hand smoke. Now they want to criminalize us for finding a safer way.

I went to look at the new version of my truck that is 16 years old.
Same option package, the new just had 4 full size door instead of my extended cab.
Salesman said it was stickered at $44k, but they could probably get close to $40k.
I told him for a bum around truck that cost $40k, it better have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in it.

Needless to say, I still have a 16 year old truck.
The wife gets the brand new cars, lol.
I'm seriously thinking getting my savings out and upgrading my own into a new one. With the dollar so high my savings will go a long way before the dollar hits again and prices go into the clouds. I know, girly car, and no, this isn't the one you get in America

Talk about two countries separated by a common language. Not sure if this is a spoof, anyone in the UK caught eating squirrel would be hounded by the press and probably prosecuted by the RSPCA for animal cruelty.

Red squirrels are almost worshipped here, the grey ones are considered a pest.

Personally, I draw the line at pork, beef, chicken or lamb. Anything else I find a bit too "gamey" e.g. rabbit.
rabbit is delicious. Every now and again when you go into an estancia, there are some wild rabbits. Highly recommended!

The key with wild game is that while skinning it, never let the hide come in contact with the meat again once it's pulled away. Eliminates the gamey flavor.

Rabbit, squirrel, and the like mainly taste like chicken (still not sure if everything tastes like chicken or if chicken tastes like everything else.)

Venison and Buffalo can be cooked to taste like beef. Also, 2 of the healthiest leanest meats.

I can cook most game and season it where you'd never really know it was wild game unless you were told.

There's an abundance of most of the wild game mentioned here so population control plays a part, but it is still very regulated.
Venison and wild boar ham are delicious. Every time I go to patagonia I stuff myself. Really great. Although I can't kill anything!

A good sized white tail can feed a family of 4 or 5 for quite some time.

Myself and a lot of my family that still hunts donate almost all of the meat to needy families.
Most of us already have more meat in the freezer than we could possibly use already.

My nephew works for Fish and Game and they have a list of needy families and every time a deer or loose cow is struck by a car or the like, and the meat is still viable, they'll call and give the family a certain amount of time to come get it and then move down the list as needed.

Supplement that with squirrel, rabbit, fish, etc. and it makes a huge difference in a lot of families well being.
Here in the Pampas there's nothing to hunt. Literally NOTHING. Down south and more to the mountains Guanacos (wild cousins to llamas) have great skin and meat, most humble people eat on that. But here is pure nothing.

I had a fit of misguided organization and dismantled and cleaned all my tanks and :(. Next time I’ll leave an emergency not so dirty one set up, just in case
That picture alone makes Monday all better
I was just wondering about that...
Now I do it in rotation. The foul tasting tank, as long as the coil works gets put inside the ultrasonic cleaner and wicked. So I do 1 tank every day and I'm all set. When I'm done with the last, I have a new one to recoil :)

Soaking in vinegar brine does wonders with reducing the gamey taste. Deer makes an excellent Swiss steak, better than beef.
That reminds me, ñandu, the smaller sibling of the ostrich, also is tasty, although here they don't. I tried some in Europe during the mad cow crisis.

morning all.
after a couple of fails with the OBS engine II i stubbornly refused to try again for a couple of months. i broke this morning and went at it again (mainly through boredom...not helped by my breakfast of cold butter beans and chili flakes).
wound two ni80 aliens which were stupidly low right after install...0.07! the only mod i had to hand that would fire it was my dovpo VV M. after dry firing and bedding in it's sitting at 0.12. much trimming of the rayon and my DIY apple pie later we have a rather nice vape. always odd to switch back to a 510 and it takes my draw and lungs a wee bit of time to adjust.

and yes i will whap it through the cleaner at next rewick.

So it wasn't just me that had a very low building day...
The guy from the vape store got it wrong and sent me the Engine 2, not the engine 1. Man, that's some ....* to build!

In christian cementerys (at least here) there's a bone/ash deposit. Difficult, but I'm the last. Who's going to take care of them if I'm gone? Didn't think twice.

i find it easier with coils that are shorter in length (this also has the benefit of the air flow hitting all of the coil) as the legs are easier to squeeze in and clamp. these are 3mm ID.

And good morning all! One trick to building the Engine 2 is to take one is the legs back a bit and bend it so both legs are aligned together instead of staggered like a regular wrap. If you have the goodie bag around take a peek at how OBS made the legs for the included coils. It really does turn it into an easier way to build.

Hi everyone,

Been a while. Had to post this because i'm super excited.

Bought $100 CAD doors for my $60 CAD mod

Hybrid Maple Burl, Green in color with Midnight Star Field resin.

S O E X C I T E D .

I pulled this from the vendor's instagram. I **think** it's the prepolished door. But it's in better lighting and quality, so I think it'll look closer to this. It was posted yesterday (prepolish) and the doors were posted this morning (for sale). Fingers crossed they're the same.

Are you talking about a website?

LOL that must have been a particularly incoherent post. I was talking about prepackaged meals that you cook (somehow) and the instructions on the box.

You may not have encountered them in Germany, because you lot have taste LOL.
