In some parts of Northern Quebec they run into a forest and try to piss off a black bear, then run out of the woods with it chasing. The friends set up to shoot it as soon as it comes out.

That .... is dangerous. One of the guys I knew that did this used to do it in the nude for whatever reason.

And I thought our bear hunters were nuts, lol.

First try that, then we'll see. Memory isn't expensive. My husband had a computer working for 7 years, and most of the time problems get solved with virtual memory and reinstalling the OS.

Google '510 rash protectors', you can even get them in ultem.

At kidney puncher they're called mod guards. Just little flat plastic disks with a center hole for the 510.

I'm holding out for a black brizo, seems better received.

If it's released before my internal shiny timer goes off, I'm in. I can't be held responsible for my spending when the timer hits zero, though.

These things - mod protectors. Kidney Puncher has them but I don’t want to spend $ on shipping for a $2 item.

I know I’ve seen them on FT but god only knows what the search key words are on that site lol!

I got a couple clear ones with my rage squonk.

I think you could just buy acetate paper (I think they still use them in schools? They did when I was atleast) and just cut disks out of the sheet.

Lol I just posted that w a pic! Great minds etc....

Because of my CDO, I use 3"x5" index cards.
I punch a hole with hole punch, place atty in hole, trace atty with pencil, then cut disk out with scissors just slightly smaller than tracing so it isn't seen when atty is on mod.

I used some nylon washer from Lowes and Home Depot at one time, but this was more convenient, and work 'supplies' me an unlimited supply of cards.

I've been using this method for years.

The index cards will also soak up small amounts of leakage an keep it from getting into 510 or mod.
Then just throw it away and make another one.
