Morning shinies :)

Been looking at airy RTAs myself lately. Any good ones to try @KC0YNU ? Prefer single coil
I'm not sure if there's much difference between the Zeus and Zeus Dual aside from the deck, but I've really enjoyed my Zeus Dual. It's pretty airy. Maybe a Zeus would work for you.

I think the DR is a solid performer. You won't be disappointed.

Edit : just saw the mtl use. I can't vouch on that one. Remember it's dual coil, and that's not great off the bat for mtl. What about a single coil Intake? It's a restricted DL to begin with, so restricting that down might be a better option.
I am hoping they will release a single coil version withth a deck like the SQ.

Just ran across the pre-order for this beauty.. made in Italy.. Not much known on specifics as of yet, but man, isn't that a gorgeous piece of work?

Beautiful box. Has a dna 75C inside. They also make a squonker. The squonker goes for something like 850 euros. Makes stabilized wood seem like a bargain.

so unlike many of the people on this forum, im not very wealthy, i have a perfectly good working AL85 that i have had for about 3 years now (All original other than battery and coils). but i really want a Squonk setup, the AL85 just doesnt put out the flavor i want, no matter the coil..... should i spend the money on a squonk kit?

As a shinyitis member the correct answer can only be: of course!

As a normal human being (it's a temporary occupation I have:lol:) I'd say it depends. Do you want to vape on an RDA without dripping? Then yes. Do you not mind dripping? Then no, save your money and get an RDA with a deep well.
I'd also not suggest to get a kit, often the RDA in the kits is lackluster and just thrown in as a buying incentive.

For the not-so-fat purse the only one I'd recommend is the Pulse 80W + a cheap single coil RDA like the wasp, gorge or recurve. All in all that would set you back about $70-$100 (USD, no idea what that is in snowmen currency

The flavor is a function of the tank, not the mod. Are you using the original baby beast and associated coils on it? If so, trying a different tank might be all you need. Squonks are nice for volume and the build of an RDA. You can still get excellent flavor with other tanks without replacing your AL85 mod itself.

okay that actually seems like a perfect plan (buying box mod and tank sep) and 70-100 is roughly 90-120 ice crystals XD

Are you interested in building? If so buy a decent cheap single coil rta or rda and see if you want to follow that path enough to keep the maintenance up.

Welcome to the Shiny thread.

yes unfortunately i am using the Original baby beast, i am not however using the M2 coils, i am using i believe they are called either the Q4 or X4, Dual coil setup, waiting on some T8's which are quad coil

i was thinking about buying an RDA before a squonk kit just to see if the rebuilding is for me, i mean, dont get me wrong i think i can do some crazy coil builds (single or dual) im gunna get pounded with hate for this but, ive been watching a lot of Rip Trippers, and i want to build SO BAD so now i need to find a 22mm RDA to fit my AL85 :p

My uncle Dean. One of the OG Hells Angels from Oakland.

I don't think your Uncle Dean would have had much use for that book, no.:lol::lol:

I'm glad I'm not super religious but I did take a comparative religions course in College, and it was awful I mean HW would be stuff like, "Read the New Testament this week," and it did teach me a lot, to see what similarities existed between religions and what "worked" or didn't.

I will also say it's easy to mistake what we value, and what we seek. I really value happiness and have been most surprised to find that happiness can't be achieved as a goal, it's more of a biproduct, really.

Also, there are this group of folks who value reading and feel they can learn from it, or at least there used to be before this horrible thing called "common core," and "stupidity." You can learn many things from books, although lived experience certainly has its use.

No fan of Georgia, but I'd choose it over Cali, any day of the week. Of course, I have never had a place to call "home" in the sense that I grew up in about 12 different countries. I have found making my home wherever I am standing, regardless of my geographical locale or set of circumstances. I literally never felt "at home" anywhere, until I decided it had to be "everywhere" for me.

Nothing wrong with Rip as long as you can stand his act and watch 1-2 other yters review the same product (which you should do anyways, regardless of who your favorite reviewer is).

22mm RDAs are almost all single coil nowadays and copme with a squonk pin (hint hint), they usually don't have a deep well so you'll drip some then drip some more. In the olden days (like 2 years ago or so) the 22mm were all dual coil with an acceptable well... times change quickly in the vape biz.

The advantage of the bigger RDAs (24-25mm) is definitely the very deep juice well, fitting 2ml in there isn't a big problem (and some RTAs only have 2ml so... there ya go). A slight overbite wouldn't be too bad, are you out to win Canada's next Vape Model or get a good taste out of your setup? ;)
