The smm also seemed to leak out of the top cap a lot too, wonder if I somehow messed up the oring and it's not sealing cause juice flow issues?

The o-ring in the top cap was known to be deformed occasionally from the tank being closed tightly while dry during shipping.
Glad you found a build that works for you!

It’s just the automated response to let you know your email made it into the system.

I'll have to look at it when I get home and find the box. Idk how many plain, weird or exotic coils I've tried. I have settled down to geekvape 2 in one fused clapton kit. 8 coils that aren't too expensive, ni80, .35 and .4 3mm 2x and 3x fused. I really like the .4 3x fused. IIRC its 28x3 36 wrap? To me they're great. I've been using them in everything I build.

That's why I bought the serpent as my first rta. It actually put me off of them for quite a while. With my pulse 80 and a dead rabbit I fiddled with wicking and worked out my problems I've had with wicking. I usually just globbed juice down the center of my side airflow rdas and chucked clouds not caring. Intentionally stuffing the piss out of them with wick to hold more juice. As I've said before my rta experience is limited, I do enjoy the idea of them and I've worked out my new engine to where I'm getting a perfect warm wet vape with very little spit back. For a single coil it sure guzzles juice the way I have it set up! Glad for that 5ml tank. I've been thru 1.5 tanks so far today! I cant put her down lol. Also doesn't help I bought another bottle of my favorite juice. It doesn't seem to last as long as other juices do.

I wont know till the end of the month when the glass comes in. China was the only place that any in stock I could find. Someone needs to come up with a see through metal that doesn't shatter like glass.

I will post a build up next time I fix it up. And I've already got a nasty list of rtas built up from 2 weeks of browsing just this thread!!
I like the Serpent SMM. I learned RTAs on it. Only issue I had was dry wicking but that is likely that I made a fog machine out of it and its not really designed for that. I thinned the wicks and screwed it together nice and tight and no dry wicks and no leaks. If you are using cotton you want a little wiggle room in the wick holes.

I still use a Serpent Mini and an SMM ( ;) ) regularly.
Mini on a Pico is a great stealth kit.

Is the mini shorter than the SMM? That would be perfect for the J80. I Have the SMM on it now.

A little, but a stubby drip tip would shorten a little more. It's 22mm but has great flavor because of tiny chamber and close proximity to coil.
