Well finished up my two latest mods today. A Capo squonk kit and a Battlestar with a Geekvape Zeus. A set of new married batteries for the Battlestar came today and at this point I am going to call it quits on new equipment until something breaks.

Drop. Dead. Gorgeous.

That is all.

Another super unshiny day today.... My punk arrived but I haven't used it yet. It's still in it's protective layer. The husband was lusting at it so much I think it has to go under the tree in HIS name, LOL. I am using all my willpower not to vape it, because I want him to succeed (and not to buy another one, either!) :)

I have a matte black protective layer on, apparently. :) Or, I must really love the dude and want him to succeed. I guess I'll opt for the latter... .

The husband's morning "speech" (he has one every time I accidentally wake him up early) is making me rethink my decision on this one. I can't help being a clumsy, early awakener.

LOL, usually once he has some nic and coffee in his system, he apologizes. Here's hoping NOT this morning....:lol:

Anna

Your hubbie has obviously not learned the most important thing about being married... As a husband I can either be Happy or Right. I learned long ago that I enjoy being happy way more than I enjoy being right.

LOL, he is a Republican, "Be right or DIE!" seems to be their motto, but fortunately I am sorta one myself.... although BOTH parties seem to be having a moment themselves....

I kid, he usually understands the rightness/happiness ratio, it's just that upon awakening his defenses are down. He wandered in and said, "Okay, starting over...." That's not exactly an apology, but I am a forgiving spouse, as my situational awareness tells me I am not so easy to live with at times EITHER. That, and I would really not like to spend any more money, LOL.

I believe the Pulse mod was the first mech for both of us so I thought I'd get your opinion on batteries. I've been using nothing but 18650s (VTC5A) since I got mine a couple of months ago and wanted to know your thoughts on how the 20700s compare?
To be honest, I've noticed a little difference in performance with 20700 batteries. My 5as hit well enough.

Are you actually NOT recommending something JFC? The heavens are singing from above.... :)

I actually kind of agree with you on the 20700 batteries, I have won 2 20700 batteries, and while they are heavy, I'm not sure there is a huge performance upgrade, although I have liked the heft and size of that battery in one battery configurations though.... I have won two Capo 100 kits, and gave away the first, although I am thinking of keeping this one for the husband. I really liked the mod and how it functioned, actually, but the first time I tipped it over, it scratched the screen, and I'm hard on mods so I could see that probably over time, I would destroy it. Kind of a shame, as I liked the mod and the vape a great deal. Perhaps I just need to be more careful with this one, or wrap it. But the battery is quite heavy.

Maybe at some point, there will be more options among the big 3 players with that battery size. I don't DISLIKE the 20700 battery, but I'm not quite sure how much more it adds, at this point.

Thanks. I've been holding off on buying 20700s until I have more than one mod that takes them. Hi. My name is Randy and I suffer from Shinyitis.

And that's another reason I've been holding off. So far it looks like there is more upside to the 21700s (forgive me if I'm wrong) as far as longevity. And vaplecrawler tells me there are lots of cool Shiny toys that take 21700s

Hmm... I am noting that the capo will take all size batteries and it's actually a 21700 battery that's included. Kindly forget everything I said.

NUMBERS... my downfall, every single time. With that said, I might try it out with and 18650 and not the differences between the batteries.... Maybe it will make a difference, although at my puny vaping numbers, I'll have to vape it exclusively, charge up a new battery, and count puffs or something. That sounds like a lot of work, but now I'm interested.... :)

Suffering from Shinyitis is hard as most of us know but it's even more difficult when a sufferer's spouse supports and even encourages the behavior to an extent. My lovely bride has been so supportive since I quit the stinkies and started vaping and it gets even better. Just the other day when a friend asked her if my vaping was saving money she replied "Maybe but only because he's spending a lot less time at the Harley dealer". See, she is enabling me!

I'm starting to believe I just move from interest to interest. For example, no new clothing in ages, and living out of a suitcase for a year during the whole fire "deal" was pretty helpful on that. I have discovered that I can survive with 7 days of undergarments, 4 pairs of jeans, 3 pairs of shoes, a bathrobe and a few shirts and whatnot.

My mom actually had to "make" me "let" her buy me an item, and it was a pair of Tibetan Sherpa pants. I was musing and musing about when I might wear them, and decided it would be appropriate to do so when I climb Cat mountain with the husband every Easter. Here's hoping I don't get stuck to too many cactuses.

But really, I am noting increased satisfaction now that I have MORE than enough. Like usual. And admitting to myself that I'm like that with any new pursuit.... I gave away ALL my admin clothes and shoes to Goodwill this year, as my brief and unhappy stint as one really did not require ALL those clothes.... I mean, sure, I got many of them FROM Goodwill, but I am an enthusiastic STARTER, here's hoping the shinyitis trails off.... But it's a hard struggle. Unlike CIGARETTES, where the idea of moderation wasn't even POSSIBLE. I was going to smoke as much as I smoked, and damn the torpedoes. Probably the only thing keeping us out of the poorhouse was buying cans of tobacco and tubes (and using an electric injector machine) off the Native American Reservation. Seriously.

So vaping still wins :)

As long as you don't start looking for a Harley to match your favorite gear you'll stay ahead of the game! Tho the the new Punk would look pretty sick sitting on a Harley...:D

It's the other way around. I showed my wife the new frosted panels for the Pulse mod and told her that the frosted orange ones would match one of my bikes. She did that eye roll thing and went back to reading whatever it was that she was reading.

Some sites have them listed as orange and others as red. Either way, when they go from preorder to in stock I will blame you for enabling my Shinyitis. You are after all the one who introduced me to vapecrawler

Oooh... I get to blame Coastal Cowboy then I think. I believe he might have been the first person to mention it that I read.

I wonder if there's a way to set vapecrawler to Gearbest only? That might work out fantastic, I could lust over all the great equipment I will never buy.... LOL.

Honestly, I blame no one but myself for any purchase, so.... :) I am also wondering where on EARTH I ordered 50 1.6 nautilus coils and I need to figure it out. It was on one of those "wholesale sites," I think. Time to start poring through my Paypal account, as I think I used it and I actually AM going to need those coils.

Hmm... maybe it's time to start watching my videos on how to rebuild them, that would be an epic step forward in the non-shinyitis direction..... And it would certainly keep me occupied for a while, I am quite sure.
