I think it may be when the version was released since both of mine came with Replay already enabled.

Have you already used the Evolv software- Escribe ? It’s a bit overwhelming to begin with but you only need to update your version and enable Replay.

Here’s the PC download site just in case you don’t have it. Use the International Version lower on the webpage.

EVOLV - Home

There’s a very good forum there to help people with any Escribe issues.

Thanks
Yes! Only it was ages ago. Last time I looked there's only a PC version. I'll get my husband's PC ready tomorrow and find out. I'm not so easily spooked by complicated things. It's just that I'm getting older and fussier.

Perfect. Since you’re only updating the version it shouldn’t be complicated at all.

Escribe just looks scary because of all the different things that can be adjusted. I just use it to add custom materials profile curves. I wasn’t crazy about the included one although I’m using the included ss316l profile now. I think it’s been updated since my very 1st foray into dna devices.

There’s a MAC version but I’m not sure how well it works. I remember people having issues with it but that was a long time ago.

I need professional help. Wait... I get professional help! Lol!!

Newest order. I had a $25 discount code so it only made sense to order a $155 mod right?! Plus I’m doubling up on all my favorite Asmodus mods.

What can I say?! My credit card company loves me. My bank account not so much :p !!

It’s a Sunday playing with coils. In another thread @TrollDragon linked a post from @Boden on Radiator coils to which I have never seen. Looks like Boden is no longer around to answer questions but it seems to me that the objectives of the radiator coil is to maximize surface area while mitigating mass and to capitalize on air flow with a elongated coil which inspired me to experiment a little with the Squid Industries Peacemaker RTA.

I do not have any regular high gauge wire on hand, and was not willing to attempt to de-wrap any of my Clapton wire so used a 2x 28awg core with a 40awg wrap SS316L Fused Clapton wire. My experiment was more toward trying to capitalize on airflow and surface area rather than mitigating mass with a higher gauge wire. I used 2x 2.5mm jigs to create the elongated coil which has an equivalent ID of 4mm. I have tried a regular 4mm ID coil in the Peacemaker but found the results not to my likening. Grant it I did not put much effort into improving that 4mm coil. With the elongated coil it vapes just like a regular 3mm coil. I do not have a 2nd Peacemaker RTA on hand so no direct comparison in terms of flavour, but TBH flavour did not seem to improve (nor did it diminish). Wasn’t expecting anything spectacular with this experiment - it was more to see if I could pull it off. Was interesting non the less

Aaaaand- Pay for movers!!! Negotiate a good price. They’ll undercut each other as much as possible.

Good Luck!!

The husband has gone. I talked to my kid. I really think we should pay for movers, and yes, I should get a security deposit back.

I'm freaking out at the moment, actually. It's just.... Being the remediators SUUCKS. It so does. It's really, OMG, it's so worth it though. Every single realtor has told us we have upped the value of the home about 20--30K for the cost of really caustic cleaning supplies, paint, and elbow grease.

I am just freaking out, period. I never imagined we would move again, and I'm kind of scared we might DIE doing it. I mean, I know we won't and yes, the rental house is looking good, and all that.

I just swore to the high heavens that I would Never Remediate Again, and whatever house we wind up buying is going to be out of town (on the side that doesn't flood) and like new, or we buy our own brand new manufactured home (I quite like them, on acreage) or SOMETHING.

I'm just having a freak out moment I have so much to do, my schedule is so messed up this weekend was HARD and I know it will all be worth it... But, OMG the process is the suck. My stupid "new" doc prescribed me the wrong dosage of something and I need to go back in (not to her, hopefully) and, and, and....

I just want to go crawl under a rock somewhere and die. LOL.

I'm glad we have a month to go, man. Because between my bipolar and commuting, and the husband's PTSD we need to like, get it done before we kill each other, man.

I'm just not worried about movers and whatnot. I'm making 1500 k extra a month after taxes once I move, but I think I need to hoard all my dough ALL of it and just buy movers if the husband won't. Or something. Sigh.

What needs remediation? I’m unfamiliar with this.

I sold mine because it wasn't a Therion.

I only bought a Paranormal cause all you cool cats had one – now everyone is selling theirs :(

Oh well…

I don’t mind the Paranormal. But much prefer its bigger brother the Triade

Any updates on the bestia clones?
Sorry if I missed it.
Remember you said outside was good but inside a bit scary.......

Haven't had the chance to use them yet. Having a hard time putting down my EVM - for my usage it's literally the perfect mod.

When I get my bonus on Thursday i'm thinking of picking up at least an LV Drone and maybe some higher end stuff if I can find some -- the bestias may take a back seat.

From the 0.3V worth of battery charge I put into them, I can tell you they are not things I would use much. The side firing has no tactile feedback whatsoever. Not sure if i'm making contact until I can hear it fire, which is sometimes scary. No lock either. And the mini had a hard time making contact from what I found. Having a hard time finding an RDA to match the mini's gold (even the B2K is a couple shades off), and the size of the top of the regular one makes my RDAs look awkward. I put my Goon 25 with bullet cap on it and it literally looks like a big black penis. I chased my girlfriend around the house with it for a bit until she got annoyed.

I highly anticipated the LV Drone. But with all the reports of the battery door STILL popping out of place while squonking I took a step back. Ill fitting battery doors drive me absolutely nuts!!

Meant to ask, you get a chance to put that Reload S RDA to work? If so, thoughts?

I need a high powered squonker for my low dual coil builds. I don't mind picking something up low end, but between the pulse dual, topside dual, and LV Drone i'm not sure what to get.

I really like the Reload S. It's my go to recommendation for single coil non facebook lists/high end/etc I think. From what I remember (it's been a while), it's pretty similar to the recurve in performance. I liked the recurve but the finish and shape put me off, it looks and feels so cheap. Reload feels really good and looks really good.

Aside from tasting like the recurve, it actually has a lot similar to the entheon (aside from the Stanley Cup look). Has very similar airflow so you can squonk up to the top of the coils and not need to worry about it leaking out.

I'm very aggressive with my squonking and it's the only RDA i've managed to never make leak.

Another bonus over the recurve is that it drips fine too. And the 24mm means it'll fit nicely without a beauty ring on pretty much everything.

I think $70 CAD is a fair price. But for whatever reason people go nuts over paying an extra $20 for quality.
