What mod is that? You seem to find things I’ve never seen before
^^Isn't that the Wismec one you can convert to a squonker?
E - Here it is.

Good morning shiners! Everyone getting adjusted to waking up in the dark yet? My internal clock still refuses to accept the alteration. Funny thing is when traveling time changes really don't throw me off. Guess I just expect it when in a different locale, but bad when it's your home time that gets thrown off.
It'll solve very soon. Welcome to NYC in summer. I never lived there long enough to really make a difference, but it reminds me of Buenos Aires soooo much. In the upper east side where a friend of the family had his home I spent many wonderful days of summer. I really miss it!
What still baffles me is the subway system... To this day! If I ever go, please someone teach me once and for all!

It's complicated. You have to remove the faceplate and when in squonking mode is unregulated because you eliminate all the electronics to be able to put a bottle. Want to see a video? That's why most of us are turned off by it...
And, anyway, you can attach a tank to a squonker if you need to use it!

Do you have access to the classies?
Few nice purge just listed......
Some nice stuff there. I decided to pass on the Side Piece and Stacked Piece in favor of that B2B V4 I bought last month, though. I'm not too sure about the side fire switches.

I hate it. I’m waking up an hour earlier! I was waking at 5ish. I’m still waking at 5ish. The cruel irony of getting older is, I could sleep as late as I wish now that I don’t work, but my body simply will not sleep.
Start drinking mate. Will calm you down and fill those hours. Me, I'm in the same problem. I wake up really early because I can't sleep no more, so I take my time with breakfast, answer mails and watch the morning news program. It's my me time. Even if after lunch I take a 2 hour nap.

Oh? I thought you could use both electronic boards with both modes, squonk and boxmod mode?

Rough today.

Had a hell week at work last week. On Friday I fell asleep for like 4 hours while watching a movie. Saturday, spent close to 5 hours "napping". Couldn't sleep all night and woke up late on Sunday. Because I woke up late on Sunday, I again couldn't fall asleep last night. 4 hours of pretending to be sleeping and here we are: dead or dying.

I don't normally have problems with time changes but the exhausting week leading to missed sleep, creating a need for naps to catch up, delaying falling asleep... rough for me.
I solve that with some melatonin. Take it 2 hours before sleep for 15 days. If you don't have major sleep issues and are below 50 you'll be fine.

Not a problem for me since I retired. This way round is OK, but when it changes the other way it really gives me fits with the dogs. They are used to getting fed at 4.00. Suddenly they have to wait until 5.00, according to their clock. They let me know how they feel about it for weeks.
I feed Yago half at night, same time we have dinner (no table scrap beggars) and half in the morning when we have breakfast. He's not the greedy kind of dog, so we're very loving of him. He's not a very active dog either.

If you get one check it thoroughly after squonking.
Bought one and had to send it back because it was leaking somewhere between the bottle and the 510. Juice leaked out of the plastic between the two parts. I could have had a defective unit but worth mentioning.
Full disclosure I wasn't too impressed with the mod as a single cell squonker.

I can’t fall asleep either. I take a sleeping pill at 9 so I can fall asleep by 1am. No pill, no sleep. And I used to be able (actually need to) sleep 10 hours a night, and fall asleep standing up.
Dear, I'm turning 56 in a few days. I was always a night owl, we'd chat with mother until the wee hours. The body asks what it needs. Read, do things that exhaust you late at night and you'll sleep in no time. I take a long relaxing bath, tv late at night makes me jittery.

Happy early birthday! You’re just a week or so older than me! I read every night. Wish that worked for me. Saving grace is no job to get up early for, and Himself feeds the cat breakfast.

Awol China order finally made it to Miami and decided to bounce from station to station there. Weather must be lovely, as it seems loathe to head to New Orleans.

Happy early birthday! I’m turning 56 next month. Kinda hate leaving 55 behind, such a nice round number.

@greybeard42 im too lazy to search back a few pages but what size flat/ribbon wire did you get? I’m ordering the ss326l 8x .1 because that gets me to approximately.5ish ohms (my sweet spot is from .4 to .6) with 6/5 wraps according to Steamengine. I know you mentioned that the next time you’d get a different size because of the difficulty of working with it.

Are you experiencing a noticeable difference in vape? I’m impressed as to how the increased flavor/density of the parallel coils wish I had tried it sooner.

I just can’t get myself to like Clapton’s or similar. The ramp up time is too slow especially if I’m wrapping it myself (which is also a challenge initially) to be over .3ish ohms. Too much material imo. Also they are battery and juice hogs with no major discernible increase in either flavor or density. (I’ve gone on b4 abt this and questioning why it’s so popular lol)

Sorry for the rambling post. Must be the NyQuil and my meds :vapor:!!

Someone call Punk???

@Fidola13 – when looking for Clapton type wire, look for ones with a high gauge wrap 38awg to 40awg. This makes the wrap a less influence on the mass which will greatly reduce ramp up. One of my fav Fused Claptons is 4x 30awg core with a 40awg wrap Ni80. Bout the same mass of a 28awg parallel of the same dimension

I have some 0.8x0.2 SS316 – It’s a PIA to work with, too springy even after heat treatment.

@Susaz – I am horrible with dates so Happy early Birthday before I forget. :toast:
