I ran out of this stuff a while back and got distracted with other flavors for a while. Like being reunited with an old friend. Best CTC vape I've ever had.
The Pulse BF was only $4.99 CAD and I added it to the order to get free shipping. It's a great beater squonk that you don't mind if it takes a tumble or slide across the asphalt.
The lock is just a knife switch that you slide over to contact the tab, giving it a little squeeze with the pliers to tighten up the gap reduces some of the voltage drop. The switch is just a simple momentary contact switch that will take 30A. Mooch cut one apart after 20K presses, 15K at 0.17 ohm and 5K at 0.09 ohm to see how well it would hold up.
Looks quite good to me.

That was the biggest question with the BF was quality of that switch, but I wouldn't have any worries with it. I've run 0.12 ohm builds on it a few times.@NolaMel a happy birthday!!
Thanks! You saved me time disassembling just to discover the already known to smart people. It just seemed weird and after seeing those photos I feel better about it.
Interesting idea on that replacement switch. Overcoming the battery orientation does look annoying but not impossible. I'm not sure I'd want to invest that much work into it. It is a nice light beater. Maybe in use I'll decide decking it out a bit more is worth the time. Thanks on that link! It's funny with the tactile button it's close to the price of the whole mod. And that's a nice little button for the money. Maybe for another project........

I have two of those iSwitch boards still in their anti-static bags for future projects. If you ever want to play with PWM his iPWM board is very reasonable and works excellent.![]()
Yep. 21700 fits perfectly too. Holds everything nice and snug. It is awesome to be able to use a 30T in it.That was the biggest question with the BF was quality of that switch, but I wouldn't have any worries with it. It takes about 5 minutes with a gentle flat file and some 1000 grit sandpaper. I used PlastX to make it look nicer.Ooh, if I could fit a 21700 in there it would be a killer! Then I wouldn't feel bad about all the screaming and complaining trying to get that switch installed!
I've never played with PWM. That's a nice site and already bookmarked.
Maybe the Pulse is useful as an inexpensive case just to test out building things on. It's certainly light and cheap enough, and does look pretty indestructible. I might have to pick up some more just for that purpose. Thanks to that big switch already in there it's like you have enough of an offset to jam all sorts of stuff into it.
Now that is one awesome squonker!Picked up yesterday's failed delivery ... new front/rear doors for the SQ:

Perfect fit and finish![]()
ThanksNice! That'll be my first project with it. You certainly did a nice clean job. I'll just be happy if it fits and the doors hide my hacking away at it.
And now I've had a good play with my other shiny stuff of the day (non-vape, but complementary) --- a Nanopresso + barista kit, and a hand cranked burr grinder. Am now enjoying a nice hand-ground (that'll get old fast, but useful for camping and such), hand-pumped (that part's easy actually), double-shot americano (long black technically) with a decent crema and really great flavor.
Weeeee.
... (and vaping all the while ... except while hand grinding ... did I mention that'll get old fast? ... it's old).
There is a new BB coming. Its called a SXK BB Mini 30W Bantam. Uses the same Boro tanks and bridges.

Yes, in all the years that I fostered and the many momma's and babies that went in and out my door, it was not unusual for maybe 1 out of every 2-3 litters to lose a baby or two. As you say Mother Nature and all. The first time I fostered a pregnant mom and she birthed and I thought I was doing a good job and one by all babies died. Swore I would never do it again. Felt like I had failed everyone. A year or so later I accepted the challenge again and all went well and went well forever after save for the few that die. I later learned there was nothing I could have done, if they aren't meant to survive then that just is the case. But for that year, it was one of the many things I guilted myself with in the wee morning hours when sleep would not come.Just 4 now. The tiny runt and gray calico died. The babies were just too crowded and think the two that died had internal organ problems. So far the other four seem to be thriving and June is looking much healthier. Mother Nature takes care of her own.
dying to know if you get one.I’ve never heard of them... no problems with orders? They have them in stock. Trying not to let shiny lust get in the way of common sense.
Well, so far lust is winning out over prudencedying to know if you get one.
