Not s shiny post, per se, but considering ideas for mod makeovers (re-shiny so to speak).

I'm thinking that an acrylic pour (or dip) might be nice for boring panels on mods (thinking of my red Inbox) ... to that end, I got some cheap acrylic paints and some gloss medium to experiment on 6" x 7.5" dollar store "canvas" panels --- here's a first experimental pour just to start to get a feel for it:

There's a few other items I need to do things right, and a fair bit of experimenting to go, but I think it shows promise. The next experiment will be an acrylic dip (which I think might be a better way to go for the smaller size of mod panels).

I like the idea, the resin panels look cool, I think your acrylic idea may work too. Have you also checked out hydro dipping? It can be pretty cheap, neat custom designs.

Hydro dip FTW, always wanted to try it but never got a round to it. Some of those carbon fibre dips are quite impressive.

Unstable or not, he knew enough to get on here and he knows enough to get off but he is juvenile. So we have to put up with derogatory remarks and x rated garbage. He obviously has no life and has basically said he will use other email addys and screen names to keep coming on here and harassing people.

I do believe you are correct. Truly sad. People forget that this is public and global. It’s out there on the web for eternity, no take backs. My shiny self thought he meant no mods (a horrible thought) not no MODerators
