Looking forward to info on that Limelight.

Yes, @Heartsdelight asked me to so i'll definitely feed back....i'm fairly impressed so far :)

Might need that and a few other affordable clones for July 4th as I'm looking around and realizing I need a bunch of boring consumables too.

FT is always good for a few consumables...they do just about everything. I buy pre wound spools and ready made's there as they are inexpensive and I really don't feel like learning to wind my own clapton's at the moment. The only problem that I find is I always end up forgetting something so you end up going back again and again :)

TBH, and it may be heresy, I'm not a huge fan of tubes. But mech squonks that will have exceptional longevity are a must for me.

I think a lot of the vapers that have prepared for the apocalypse have gone down the mech squonk route as they should be easily repairable not to mention long lasting as there is not so many parts...@Rossum has done exactly that I believe except he's definitely gone for decent squonkers...

How’s you dad feeling? Well I hope :)

Thanks. But he's actually picked up an infection. The doctor said this was quite likely. So he's pumped full of drugs at the moment and just wants to sleep. He didn't even know what day it was when I went it, but it was a major operation so it's going to take time.

Wasn't someone in here getting John Elmore tips?
Want to find something to match my carbon and he may be my best bet.
Hey Hightech...not sure about elmore tips but here's a well respected tip maker...he's called JMK...

I mentioned before about possibly giving the panels/doors on my Inbox a makeover with acrylic -- still experimenting. However, I did get some artist resin, used acrylic paints for dyeing the resin (in the colors I'm thinking of using), and did a first 6" x 8" experiment. There are some flaws/errors (too close with the torch in a few places, overworked in a few places, and overall a little short on the resin), but I think it shows promise for sort of a spacey/nebulous kind of theme. Hard to photograph due to shiny/reflectiveness, but here's a pic of the whole thing, and a few close-ups of interesting sections:

Next I'll have to prep some 2" x 3" panel/door size cardboard pieces to see what techniques might work on such tinier surfaces ... might have to repurpose some ejuice mixing syringes or something.

Positive vibes towards your father!

Yes that looks promising but I can't really see it well enough to judge the standard properly. Am I seeing matt/dull patches in places or is that just the photography??

Is acrylic the right thing to blend well?

Thank you Anna. I'm also really pleased things are starting to improve at work for you. :)

Thank you Skeebo. :) But please share more terrapin pics because they're lovely!

They're gorgeous and so adorable! :) The patterns are amazing, so very intricate. In the first image her shell has those little tear droplet markings, but the second one has almost like a Greek Key pattern running around the edge of the shell. Such variation. They look especially stunning when you photograph them against the plants. Thanks for sharing.
