The Sturgis Mortorcycle Rally (South Dakota) is BIG every year and completely takes over the town. Last time I was in SD was 1990, but a local acquaintance here goes every year. Pic is from the 75th/2015...

Work is going better. I totally goofed today but I do think it was an acceptable apologizable goof I MEAN.

I’m so over painting the new screen porch, I almost offered ANYTHING from my stash (authentic mechs and provaris included) to the person who would come relieve me and my aching back. and finish the job... but then I realized two important things, I would a) have to admit to Himself there IS a stash, and b) you’d have to pry the “payment” out of my death grip . Good news is, it’s getting closer to done, and no mods have suffered paint or drops!

. The building part I enjoy, priming and painting outside has always been my least fav part. It’s coming together lovely though! After painting, we screen and hang new ceiling fans, and I’ll have a wonderful place to vape and bird watch. Eye on the prize, I keep reminding myself .

My husband and I always had a project on, and there’s always a point where you wonder what you were thinking, taking it on. We were always happy with the results though. I was just glad he had follow through. A friend of mine’s husband would tear something up and start, then leave it half done. I don’t know why she never killed him.
