Well, my brother has taken my mother overnight ... so I decided it was time to actually try something on my Inbox panels. Here's the before shot:

View attachment 824027

Then I lightly sanded them, mixed up my resin and colors and tried a dip -- should be touchable tomorrow:

Then, I pulled out my guitar, grabbed a Peanut Butter Stout from the fridge (father's day gift), and will now make some noise ...

Cheers!
Those panels look great and I'm still a touch envious of your beautiful e-pipes.

In my new house, I will have an Arizona room. It will face the sunset and it will be stunning.

And by this, I mean we are going to position the RV in the right direction for a few years, I'm guessing. LOL.

OMG did notes from 9--3:30. Did yoga as my body was informing me I HAD to. Then I went to Walmart and CVS because I was like, "I will be in no shape for this tomorrow night." Also needed food and meds.

I think I MAY be about halfway through but I'm not sure. There were a few days I spent mostly gibbering, not seeing patients so I am optimistic. We'll see.

I admit, I've been eyeing it a bit skeptically as the other beer in the fridge have ... but tonight I figured what the heck (and besides, I'll be seeing that son tomorrow and he'll ask if I tried it yet). Turns out it is (well, was) quite delicious indeed! Next up: Tabula Rosa (from the Devil May Care brewing company) -- wheat beer with hibiscus (yes, it is a drastic change in taste):

so far, so good ...

Meant to ask earlier - how are you liking the rebuildables compared to your zenith?
Rebuildables win, so far (a sample of two). Much more intense and nuanced flavor. I've only got one on an adjustable mod, but I'm vaping it at lower power, so I'll be saving on juice, too. Think I may need to reduce my nic as well.

Things are going to get crazy here, though: I feel compelled to try out every atty I get, so I'm going to end up with a crazy number of set-ups for a while. I plan to put the same juice in some of them, to see if I can discern any differences. That'll be an entertaining experiment.

A Doggy question for you: All the videos I've watched say to cut the wick so the tails just touch the bottom of the juice well. Is that what you do? Or are there tricks I should know?

Not shiny related, but since this is also a turtle thread...:D

There was a big turtle standing on a dirt road at the facility I work at. I pulled over and picked up the turtle and moved it to the tree line. He looked scared, and had a lot of dust on his shell like people were driving by too close to him. Felt good to help him. I assume he moved into the woods because I didn't see him later that night. It looked like a spotted turtle which is on the "threatened species" list here. :thumb:

I love spotted turtles! I wish Florida would put them on our protected species list. The wild population across the entire South has been hit hard by the pet trade.

Btw, thanks for saving the little guy/gal... I wonder if it was a female looking for a nesting spot. If you ever see one again you can tell the difference between a male and female by their chin--males have a black chin and females' chins are orange or red.

I'm a big craft beer fan. I went and checked out the makers of the peanut butter stout you showed, you're a lucky man. We have one around the corner from my house that was my favorite brewery, but the 3 owners decided to start fighting each other one night and split up. It's now become a terrible tap house.

That's unfortunate about your local brew place ... as for me, however, the Stone Angel brewery and taproom is less than a 10 minute walk from my place (or a 15 minute stumble home).

I'm leaning toward it being a male based on your information. I wish I took a picture of it.

Progress! This started as an open, covered porch on one end of the back of the house. Himself built the louvres, walls etc. I’m the hired hand/mitre saw operator and chief painter. Outside siding and inside bead board are painted (whoop whoop). Tomorrow we can start painting the trim . (Excuse the poor gardenia in mid prune.)View attachment 824001 I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Well, except then I need to paint the house. Trusty little Frenzy has been great for this... easy to pocket, not heavy, enough battery to last a bit. Temp control coil is the way to go though, no oops empty tank moments!
Having a conservatory is fantastic....they come into their own in the winter sunshine and also think of all the rare species of plants you can grow year round :) Looks like there has been some good attention to detail there.....and nice paint job too ;)
