I was just about to post that handy tip. Always worked for me too.

Funny you should ask... I tried it with the standard 4mm airflow before installing the 1.8mm AF pin and it is the same. It comes with the same AF inserts as batch 1 (1.0mm/1.2mm/ 1.5mm/1.8mm).

Atmizoo sells the newly released "Tripod fixed air flow tubes kit targeted for RDL / DL vaping. Five tubes with air flow hole 2.0 / 2.2 / 2.5 / 2.8 / 3.0 mm" as an optional item.

    You are being redirected...

I think many RDL/DL vapers would be fine with the stock rta. The airflow can be closed off/customized from the 4mm AF with the AFC ring. However, I would grab the kit if I knew for certain that I wanted a specific airflow in the 2-3mm range.

I'm trying very hard to resist the urge of the Tripod. And those new RDL inserts ain't helping ;)

The Tripod siren call is strong, lol. Bury your head in Meredith’s fluff and perhaps you’ll be safe. Alas, all I have is a large lab who tells me to buy whatever I want (sweet boy!)

I want a lovely mech with an off switch. I love what I have, but the bottom fire is getting hard on my arthritic thumb. My favorite is ancient, a Steamship. I feel like I need a couple more, but I’m realizing what I have may not be good for me in the long run (like my Dreamer)

I hear ya on the arthritis in the hands  Maybe mech squonkers would be a better fit for you? That's where I'm going to go rather than mech tubes.

I have a *few* of those ... there’s just something lovely about a non squonk mod, plus no bottles to replace, or leaks. I have a couple dozen bottles for my mech squonks, but for durability? I think a tube mech wins hands down, at least for my level of repairability.

Well I am bummed been sitting out here watching for a meteor and not one. Gone through way to much juice and cocktails. But life is good.
Hot and hazy here to the east... no stars and the moon looks like it’s in a vape cloud . Enjoy your evening!

Thank you so much, @ShowMeTwice. I will watch attentively and take notes.

A question for you: You said in the DOOOOOMMMM!!!! thread (i.e., Rossum's new prep thread) that insulators and spare parts for the Russian 91% were available on FT. What are thy listed as? I couldn't find anything 91 related there.

Hmm. Not much help with my problem (i.e., that video you just posted, @ShowMeTwice): I can't separate the base or the top from the tank, much less access the guts.

Go to the dollar store and get pliers x 2. Go to Wally World and get a tube of E 6000.
Glue a piece of rubber onto the teeth of the pliers, or just fill them in with several coats of E6000. Let glue dry. It will come apart:sneaky:!

Is there any chance it’s reverse threaded? I’ve seen a few reviews where the atty was that way and I guess you’re just somehow supposed to know it was made that way.

Edit: Checked out the video, looks like that’s not the case. Looks like another case of “factory tight” at it again. Sometimes tapping works surprisingly well, so covering it in a shirt or something to protect it and giving it a few wacks might help jar it loose.

No car and no license. More business for Amazon, I guess.

I'll take a hammer to it tomorrow. @AngeNZ will be so proud of me.
