Before you do anything to it, try an rda.
I bought one over a year ago and couldnt use it.
The 510 threads were tapped too large.
First time i used it it was ok, but i noticed a wobble until snugged. Used a refill bottle and when i put the rda back on it got snug then kept spinning. Yep stripped, threads were just barely catching.
I managed a long drawn out repair but dont use it.
Anyway, just a heads up, i would hope they fixed it by now......
Thanks for that.... I love this forum for the help freely given :)

I'll get around to it when I've cleared some of the other backlogs.... I'll let you know. Thanks again.

HI all,
Was doing some late night reading and happened upon @Zazie post about stubborn tanks. A pair of these may be helpful.

This is what has saved many tanks from assured destruction from me by using any metal objects to try to open them. Believe me, I have fought and conquered many a stubborn tanks during my vaping time.

I got mine from Fasttech but I seen many of the US shops have them in their accessories sections.

Buy at least 2 (below is just a sample to show you what they look like) so you can apply pressure on both top and bottom at the same time in opposite direction or sturdy one end while twisting the other. the tweezer part will probably be useless as it tends to break easily. Be sure to look at the pics as they show how to use.

Good luck.

:)
Found 'em on Amazon--reviewed positively by @Fidola13, to boot. I ordered four (they look flimsy). I predict I'll get the tank apart just before they arrive.

Bought this because cheap

I’ll test drive them, then they will be boxed up and stashed.

Also bought another Soulkeeper in white. Ugly, but I like the battery options. My MO is going to be diversity. Also grabbed a couple RDAs to stash. Trying to think of any RTAs I’d want to try, or want a few more of
Where did you get your Soulkeeper? It's discontinued on FT (I was very sad when they canceled my order for one a while back).

Coffee/vape time again. I like the way this new one looks and feels but not so much the way it works as it quit on me after about a dozen pulls! Don’t feel like troubleshooting right now so I switched to the Solo, got coffee that needs drinking. Oh and yes I can’t seem to go back to a straight/normal tip!

I want a lovely mech with an off switch. I love what I have, but the bottom fire is getting hard on my arthritic thumb. My favorite is ancient, a Steamship. I feel like I need a couple more, but I’m realizing what I have may not be good for me in the long run (like my Dreamer)
You may look into a side fire mechanical. The good ones don't come cheap though.

Yep...i've been wondering if I missed something important about the US regulations. Have they decided to stop everyone from vaping or something?...

I’m still not feeling well, really bad vertigo since yesterday morning. I didn’t sleep much.

Hasn’t stopped my shopping. I just checked... 7 mods since last night. Yikes.

I still could use a couple single coil atties for the stash.
Crikey Delores Rose 7 mods since last night :)

This was recommended by @Eskie and it's turned into one of my favourite single coil atties...

It's slightly restricted direct lung but I find it fine although i'm normally a loose DL.

Hope you start to feel better soon

afternoon all.
my DNA60 billet box will hopefully be heading back to FT. board/button issue. if not them then an RMA is arranged with evolv (who were very helpful).
bought an SS kelpie RTA (by ehpro and @VapingWithVic ) finally for just under £20 but then found out naturevape are doing them for £14.99 currently. ah well.
low profile being kept but slightly concerned for you US folks and the stockpiling. guess i've been doing the same for quite some time without the same threat hanging over the UK/EU. if anyone needs stuff sent i'm sure we can sort you out.
think i and the provari mini are going to have to part company soon though it saddens me. the resistant limit is just toooo high for any of my styles. would rather someone used it.

Got the Cthulhu working, had to remove the chip and bend the leaf spring up, it had lost contact.
Didn't come with the silicone blob under the leaf spring? Must have been older stock. Take a tiny o-ring, or cut a piece of larger oring, and wedge it under the leaf to keep it from getting depressed too far (eventually breaking due to metal fatigue from continued bending and lifting).

Finally got around to ordering the Dovpo VEE VV, found them for 26.00+5.00(ship). Think I'll like this one, if so I'll grab a couple more. PWM mods are repairable if needed and are easily converted to a mech if need be.
how are the tootsies?
my M VV 2 still hasn't shipped.

Thank you so much, @ShowMeTwice. I will watch attentively and take notes.

A question for you: You said in the DOOOOOMMMM!!!! thread (i.e., Rossum's new prep thread) that insulators and spare parts for the Russian 91% were available on FT. What are thy listed as? I couldn't find anything 91 related there.

There was a link there somewhere. I followed it out of curiosity but I can't find it now. They had all the parts listed but most of them were out of stock.

Edit: sorry. The link I was thinking of was EVcigs down the page for the Russian tank. That one showed most of the parts out of stock.

People have been inserting the silicone piece under the leaf spring. Depending on when you purchased look in your packaging it might be in there.

Really impressed with 2fdeal.com my last 2 orders arrived quickly and this was a preorder slated for August 8th but shipped way before.

Ulton 1:1 of Atmizoo Tripod Rta with 3.5ml extension kit. I haven’t used it yet. Just received but the quality is amazing & based on Youtube vid from Todd this looks bang on.
