[Sloth Tonight]

Just went down to the FD to deliver my reports as I am getting sickish so not going to the meeting tonight. Snowing pretty good out there.
Must admit, I geek out about my car a bit. Total beast in the winter time. AWD with tires that have tread deep enough to climb a mountain and studs strong enough to climb a frozen waterfall

Sexy rims too I guess. They got me a free ride on a snowmobile one day. Uh, funny story for another time...

Took my boy Toby to the pet shop and let him pick out some bones and got my bunny more food. I also got this big huge bag of Hay which they said would work good for lining my rabbits house with. They said she will probably nibble on it but that’s not a big deal. Also got her a apple treat on a stick for bunnies. Stevie sure is spoiled she’s gonna have the best bunny pad around.

Wow nice we don’t get much snow on Vancouver island but when we do everyone is sliding around and stuck on the smallest hills on the main highways even. Mine are 3 season tires and my truck is terrible in the snow so I don’t drive much in the snow. Last year I tried when I thought it melted enough but got stuck pretty fast. I hate driving in the snow

I got the leaves raked. It kicked my .... though. I made lunch and sat down to watch We Have Always Lived in the Castle and fell asleep. Didn’t even finish my pizza lol. They’re calling for snow tomorrow, so it’s a good thing it was nice out today.

Is We Have Always Lived in the Castle streaming somewhere? The book was one of my favorites when I was little, though I didn't love it as much when I reread it recently.

I can literally drive through up to 2 feet of snow (if it's dry) with no issues. I can stop on the hill into my property which is fairly steep, then reverse up it (even if it's bare ice). It's crazy. I geek out

Without winter tires though it can be a nightmare and it's dangerous either way. We're so used to it over here there's generally no problems except for one thing: visibility. When we have whiteout conditions, all one can do is get off the road...or risk severe consequences.

Good morning SMT! Yeah, I'm a flashlight guy. The best lighting forum is Candle Power Forums. Been there since April 2007(forum name bondr006). And yes, BIG$$ rabbit hole also. Most lights don't have all the protections that our mods do, so I like using protected cells. Only drawback is they are too long for the mods. I have a ton of protected 18650's that I can't use in my mods. I thought when I got into vaping that I'd be already set on batteries. If you have any plans on getting into lights, be sure to check out Candle Power Forums. Just like ECF forum is the best vaping forum, CPF is the best forum for lighting.

PS. Over there we are Flashaholics instead of Shiny's, although Shiny would be very fitting over there too.

To everyone using the unprotected cells in their led flashlights, I would caution against it. So many things can happen, from explosion to just burning out your led. There is no regulation in the unprotected cells, so they can over draw, over discharge, over heat, among other things in the led lights. I would take some time and educate yourselves on this. I know you are all experts on batteries for our mods, but the led lights are a different animal, that imho wouldn't use anything but a protected cell with.

Which protected 18650 would you recommend for a flashlight?

Which protected 18650 would you recommend for a flashlight?

The last batteries I bought for my husbands flashlights were the Protected LG MJ1 3500mAh 10A 18650 Button Top Battery, and I got them from Liion Wholesale.

Aww @Fidola13 I wish we could be on our own together! LOL I would help you get around and you could be my anti-nuts Anna coach. Although I WILL say these freaking Steroids which I was told to keep taking do seem less prone to "divorcing me from reality."

Oh man the doc was funny. He sort of stared at my bottle of abx and I was like, "I am allergic to Keflex and clindamycin." He was like, "Well, I wouldn't take THAT.." And I was like, "Yup." Then he asked me if I had ever had a Z-pack and did it work." I was like, "Uh huh." I also was coughing into my mask so when he asked about my sputum, I just took it off. But, he handled it like a man. He also was like, "Inhaler, Mucinex, yep, if you don't get better you gotta go to the ER."

Then I was like ,"Can I get the pneumonia vaccine?" He was like, "I will order it and you can get it when you are not sick." (This is one awesome feature my work has and they don't charge you a copay even.) The abuterol inhaler is now a fine white powder, those suckers get weirder all the time.

He was also dressed like a construction worker. He was the super tall, sort of pudgy half African-American, half-Hispanic dude and he was wearing shredded jeans and like busting out of them all over. His shoes... they were barely shoes. No lab coat, for sure.

Strangely enough I can get behind a doc like that. I made an appointment in a couple weeks for like, in case would not bug me about my thyroid like Evil Thyroid Doc who started out all like, "You must feel terrible!" And I was like, "Nope, feeling pretty great, actually." We'll see. It would be nice to got to Tucson as little as possible and in a more touristy fashion.

But you could still counsel me in nuttittude (LOL maybe) and I could help you get around. Feel BETTER!

I ordered some by mistake I have NO clue where they are but I could look. I got mine from IMR batteries by mistake. One of them I destroyed by removing all the protection... I was like, dood, maybe if I take of this Incredibly hard to remove wrapper and then I got to the metal strip and I was like, "Um, Anna, this seems wrong somehow." So, I put the battery down and like backed slowly away from the incident.

But if I can't find them IMR does sell them. .Mine were Samsungs I believe but not so much the Samsusngs I wanted.

Here too. We had about 4 hours of freezing rain before the snow. I’m glad I got my outside stuff caught up. All I need to do is bring the mower batteries in from the garage.

Yea I hated his review on the profile unity especially. He just doesn’t like mesh and kept saying that the tank could catch on fire because of the mesh coil. I didn’t see it close to catching fire. He just wanted to bash that product and act like it’s a bomb every puff he took.
