Crossed my mind too, but it would say no atomizer, not count fire seconds.
Told you I missed part . Plus I think the load of company has fried my feeble little brain. I need to engage the brain cells before pondering aloud. I’d like to think it’s something simple, not a janky mod. Means I should probably check and see if I field tested my colossals before I stored them.

I've run them with the included AF pins and without. I change them up all the time. With the 1.8mm AF pin installed it feels much more airy than 1.8 when comparing it to a kayfun Prime set to 1.8mm (5 dots). The Tripod w/1.8mm feels almost like a SMJY 2k16 Doggy wide open. That's approximately like the Creek is. With or without the AF pins you can still adjust the airflow with the ring to fine tune.

I have one Creek as it came and that's perfect for an airy MTL/RDL. My other one has the MTL kit I got from you installed for a much tighter MTL. :)
You got the kit because I was happy as a clam with the Creek as it came. Why mess with perfection??? I can do sort of mtl, more rdl. The Creek is flat in my happy zone.

Vapor Range has a code that just appears at checkout right now. I found out when I went to grab a second Squid Squad pod with rba tank. Decent af for up to rdl. With the discount it’s right at $30. Tiny bugger with a 1300mAh battery. I know I said no more internal batteries, but I like this one (says a lot, since pods and I don’t normally mesh). Have a vinci x and accessories coming, but it looks more small mod than pod.

I didn't see the beginning of this conversation and I'm a bit tired so I'm having trouble finding it but speaking of colossals and possibly their Center pins mine just decided it no longer liked the atomizer that actually came with it. A subtank no less with the coils that were apparently made for the tank.

It didn't matter if I took the batteries out it didn't matter if I shut it off didn't matter if I tried to get the mod itself to read the damn ohms it was wonked... really hope that this isn't like a glimpse into the future I've been using it for a whole 24 hours max.

The same atomizer worked on every other mod that I have out and available which is 5 because I'm doing a little bit of Maintenance to make sure everyone's clean and working.. only the Colossal seemed to have a problem reading the atomizer.

It happened right after I had put a different atomizer on it to give it a go so I figured maybe it pushed the pin in it but poking at that didn't seem to help. I took the coil out put it back in and that worked so it probably was the pin I'm thinking..

I'm hoping that this isn't a common issue or that it's not really sensitive to different attys because at this point I just do not have any tolerance for a mod that is super duper picky about what I put on it.

It's easy enough to take the subtank coil out and screw it back in but I'm not going to be willing to do that with every build I make every so often LOL
I would contact Asmodus. Their tech support is excellent. Have you tried other atty's on your Colossal? If other atty's have problems on the Colossal then yours is wonky.

I use my Colossal's with many RDA's and RTA's and have never had a problem. In my experience the Colossal's are very solid mods.

I hope you get it figured out. :)

Good morning shinies

Lots on the way though I won't get it before I have to check myself into the Hilton hospital in Nice. I'm counting down to the second of Jan which is my start date for the final stem cell treatment. Not looking forward to it much....four weeks and some really powerful chemo..... they're going to make me feel really ill again :(

Still once it's done I should be cured.... hooray :p :p

I received my Hussar v2 RDA (22mm) about a week ago. It's a restricted DL. The dual sided airflow is very much in the Venna ballpark. The cap is slammed like the v1 RDA or the Project X RTA. It's very quiet and like the v1 or X it has big time flavor. The v2 is a keeper!

There really isn't much room for a large diameter coil (same with the BioChip and Seven RDA's). I tried a 3mm ID coil and wasn't satisfied. With a 2.5ID coil it's perfect. I'm using an AVS 26/30 316L clapton at 0.4 ohms.

@AngeNZ coils go anti-clockwise just like the v1. Juice delivery is the same as the v1 but it's been improved. The finned top piece can be screwed off and swapped with the one from the Project X. Yes, I do like it better than the v1. It Frankenvapes perfectly. You know you want one! :D

I have the Ulton vsn: https://www.fasttech.com/products/3041/10036695/9719967

There is also an SXK vsn for $15.28 w/MAP: https://www.fasttech.com/products/3041/10036695/9716618
Is the sxk quite restricted? The other one Is out of stock but I have been trying to get some ideas for good 22mm rda’s . I prefer something airy that can take a lower Ohm on my single 18650 copper penny mod.

Here's a little rundown on my Shiny Asmodus Anani for anyone keen to know about it:)
    image.jpeg

Very Easy to build for such a small deck and just as easy to wick as well. The flavour is absolutely awesome! And then comes the airflow:shock: It's a True MTL RTA, it only has the one 2mm airflow hole which can be seen in pic and it's like sucking on a cigaretteo_O
Not my type of vape, But it's an Asmodus so I'll forgive it;)

I don't know if the Ulton version has the two piece DT or no
Hey John. No the Ulton only comes with the one screw in tip. I removed the gasket and tried various 510 tips, but all went in loose.
I've got it with on holiday, but having some bad luck with it. When I removed the deck section, the o ring twisted and partly tore. Now its kinda stuck, so I don't use it. I'll play with it again once i'm home with all my vape tools :(
I'll be getting the other clone (not Ulton) so I can compare better. So far i'm not to impress with the Ulton. Might just be mine, but its so good, i'm not giving up on it yet.

Yeah it works perfectly fine with the other two atomizers that I had available it picked them up right away. Thinking about it because of the way that it fixed I'm wondering if when I took the atomizer off the colossal because of the way the tank was built it sort of shifted the coil somewhat I'm going to play with it today and see if I can replicate it and if it's something as simple as the coil wasn't screwed in tight enough to make the connection then awesome... if it's the device being funky I'll send them a line.

I’d be willing to bet that can be fixed by unscrewing the 510 on the atty. just back it out 1/2 turn or so.

I'm going to try to replicate it today since I'm not so tired and try to figure out if it was user error like I believe it probably was or if it's the device. I did try other atomizers on it and it read it so I'm thinking it's probably something I did something came loose something was too tight something like that :)
