It looks like I got a bunk colossal as it certainly does not like to read the atomizer. None of my other mods are having this trouble with the atomizer so it's definitely the colossal. 
Actually I don't even know I mean the tank works with everything else and the mod works with other atomizer they just don't work together very well but in my experience things like that don't get better they get worse usually the day after the warranty is up

Not sure if you figured this out yet- but you don't swipe up. Swipe down, it goes from Normal to Hard. Down again, it goes to Soft, down again goes to Normal. And once you've swiped down the first time to unlock, then you swipe right and left to access other features & settings.
You should check out a video review on it, that walks thru navigation. Like many things, it's easy, but only if you know how! But the interface is really different from anything else out there, and it confused me at first, too. I accidentally changed to soft hit one time, and thought it wasn't working at all. But it's become my favorite mod, in spite of the weight.

I've seen user reports stating that the 510 center pin on the colossal doesn't work with all atomizers. The atomizer center pin has to extend far enough to make contact with the mod 510 center pin. I haven't tested this out personally.It looks like I got a bunk colossal as it certainly does not like to read the atomizer. It was working. But if you change the atomizer and then try to use it again it won't work. And this is the subtank that the company decided to pair up with the Colossal in their little combo deal. Kind of wish that I hadn't purchased another mod from them before I found this out. I do think it's something with the pin since it only happened after I put another atty on. I wonder if I can just return the Luna and this when I get the Luna. I really don't want an unregulated mod that's going to have these kind of problems.

I am replying to myself but what's the best way to describe this to the company so that I don't hear about how they can't do anything because atomizers aren't covered when what my concern is is if it's going to be finicky with one atty then it is likely to be finicky with others down the line and I just don't want something that's going to be like that?
OK, this ad has been popping up here for a while, but I keep wondering about it. Does anyone else think the name of this product is a little bit off for a pod?

I really should wait to post something until I finish my testing. So I know no one can look into the future but I took the atomizer off pulled the coil out and poked the pin down it's a very short little pin so that is probably the problem however after I poked the pin when I put it back on the Colossal it worked. Is this likely to just be all I need to do and it'll work just fine. Is this something that I should even contact them about or is that just a normal solution to this sort of issue providing of course that that is indeed the issue and when I try to replicate it a couple more times the same result happens and it works after I lower the pin. The sigelei sobra was like this
