There is no good time to tell bad news
I was diagnosed with lung cancer. I had the biopsy last week. Got the diagnosis today.
It is what it is. I smoked for so many years.
I have to have a Pet scan next week to see if it has spread. They do not think so. They think I am stage 1.
I belong to a program 'early detection lung cancer screening" a lost dose cat scan. It was found during that. Not there in Jan 2019 but there now.

I only had five pounds to deal with; two garbage bags' worth would be a huge chore. I hope you're not bothering to peel them, at least.

Thanks. He actually escalated the Dispute. I responded that he’s trying to get money that he never paid. What a scam.

PayPal must be able to see that the money never made it to your account, right? How can he hope they'll rule in his favor? (I know, I know: he's just hoping he can scare you into caving. The man is nothing but a bully, and a cocky one, to boot.)

Morning all. I've been on the road with my son on the way to the Tamworth Country Music festival. Saw a couple of great gigs last night and drank way too much beer. More of the same today and catching up with lots of old friends and colleagues. Drove through 40°C temps , thunder and dust storms yesterday. Luxotic, Vinci X and orion fellow travellers.

I read this morning that the fires are causing all kinds of weird weather. Great: they encourage thunderstorms, which then can lead to more fires.

THAT would be a job for the one who brought them home! He peels, I dice, blanch, shock and measure them out for him to vacuum pack. It’s quite the assembly line lol. Fill the bowl, work through it, start with another bowl.....
Hmmmm......wonder if I could get him to help clean and rebuild tanks ?

You really don't need to peel them, though; the peels are even less noticeable than potato skins. But maybe you're planning to use them in smooth purées.

I pay very little attention to those likes, loves etc. I do give them but rarely check them. I probably would not notice if someone gave me an X and if I did notice I would think it was their right to disagree.

I'm just going to blurt out my thoughts

Sweetie, I am absolutely heartbroken that you have to go through this. If ever there was someone who has stacked up good karma points - it is you. You got the one diagnosis that we are all scared ....less about - and it's not fair that awesome, special people like yourself (and Charlie) have to deal with this horrible disease.

I am thinking of you and your daughter - and I have everything crossed - including my eyes that it has been caught early enough

Which pin exactly Ange? I read fleetingly about it somewhere. I checked mine yesterday for liquid but it was clean.
Thinking about it, it can only be the inside top of the squonk pin. You just seal that off with silicone ?

This sucks, I am sorry.
We all, as former smokers, have this hanging over our heads.
I see there wasn't anything in 2019 - I think this is really good - very early detection !
Survival rates are improving every year.
YOU WILL BEAT THIS !
