I know. There is nothing more graceful and amazing as an older dog. My lab Lucy lasted til she was 13. She was a puppy until she was 9 ;)

Those last few years were just as, if not more special

You were both adorable.

I agree, there’s something fabulous about old dogs. I’m so lucky I’ve had him so long - he’ll be 16 in June, and he’s been mine almost 14 years.

I have a zillion pictures of him, and from age 2 to 10, you can’t tell any difference.

I like that. Need Cas to break my current mug.

I'll buy a new mod, but won't replace a mug until it breaks. I don't know why.
Just loan it to stols, or me .... new mug time!!! Although, I’m still using the same one I bought when we were evacuated for Katrina (2005). Maybe coffee mugs get special protection around me

Cas and I pretty much have an agreement. I ask if it's ok before I buy anyway. She just orders, never says a word. I don't say a word I don't get push back. There are limits, I found them.

Ignored them, but I know they exist.

My husband was very frugal. He wore clothes until they fell off his body. Never spent a dime until he found something at the lowest price. But he had his collections, used to spend hours on eBay buying stuff.

I never said a word. He’d call me to the den once in a while and say he’d found some bit of jewelry, thought I might like it.

I always knew if he’d bought something expensive because he’d casually say, wasn’t there a Dooney bag you wanted? I think we can swing it this week...

That’s how it’s done, guys.

This is weird. Ordered from AVS. Just got an email that Stuart Johnson requested money from my PayPal. I had to go through all my emails to connect that amount to the AVS order. I’ve never had that happen before. Come to think of it, it was kind of weird when I checked out. It just said I’d chosen PP and never opened the PP page when I hit buy.

That is odd. Sounds to me like a glitch in their ordering software. Probably OK but I guess it's possible they got hacked or something. Maybe contact them before you send the money.

Might have jumped the gun a bit there. I patched the exposed cable and the Kudos is working now but the screen is still turning itself off and doing weird stuff. Not fixed.

3Fvape have finally agreed to a store credit but I just want another working Kudos. Told them and waiting to hear back.

Out of curiosity, why don't you guys use rayon? Easy to wick, lasts longer, works very well.

Not knocking you using cotton, just curious.
For myself rayon is more fiddly with no added benefits. I usually need to clean the coil before I need a new wick.

They are having some problems with their new server or something. Got an email from them about it a few weeks ago.

I've tried Rayon to. Still have a stash. Every now and again I do use it. Thing is, I don't I don't really see a difference from using cotton. I get the same flavor with cotton. Cotton is actually easier for me. Maybe I have it all wrong, but from what i've read Rayon needs to be stuffed tight (I do that anyway), because it shrinks when wet, then the legs need to be thinned. To me that's a bit fiddly.

WOW I would've put up with the extra work, but I really don't see that much of a difference to cotton. Have I got something wrong?

Did you check the wires off the battery connections.
Had one flicker and act weird and that was the issue.

When I used RDAs I can't say I went through all that.

I'd cut a length and pinch off a bit. Usually it was snug but not right. I do the same with the AIO. Use my Vape Shears to thin a little, not as much as I had to with cotton. Trim and tuck

I find it easier as I don't have to guess and cut off of a pad. It threads easier for me, just roll a bit like cotton. The biggest difference I note is it "breaks in" much quicker, 1-2 hits, lasts longer and I feel it wicks better than cotton. For me it's not as fussy as cotton was.

To each his own though.
