So my package that went from Coral Springs Florida to Melbourne Florida by way of Ala freaking Bama has arrived at my post office and is out for delivery after I called them and did other stuff like asking for updates on every platform possible yay now I've got to consider whether or not I ever want to purchase from them again because I still think it was weird that the minute I got my tracking it said it was going to be 4 days on a priority mail shipment it may even have been priority Express cuz it's got $100 of insurance with it for a $30 purchase I have never had a Florida place have more than a two-day estimated delivery time usually it's next day it's almost like they factored in it going to Alabama LOL I'm probably reading too much into this

Good morning shiny folks, I have bought no new shiny but lots of packages are arriving from China at some point in the distant future so that is pleasant.

Of course, a couple are from 3FVape I'mma gonna wait till my stuff is all here, then paypal them on a package they refuse to deal with as it got lost. Probably.. IDK. Whatever.

Good morning hope the shinyitis sun signs bright and LONG for y'all today.

I been thinking about my mini donkey. Hear me out. We are on a huge lot that is fenced, and actually split in two because the owner was thinking he could build another house until the city said he couldn't.

I have a lovely fenced lot that actually has some grass. Weeds, but some grass. A miniature donkey could totally live there, happy and healthy. I mean both of them, you just can't buy a herd animal without a companion animal.

I am going to have to check the Douglas statutes on animal husbandry. I don't know what donkeys produce, other than "joy" and I would totally train mine to come inside.

Oh my here's hoping I can't get one/some the husband would KILL me. LOL.

Anna
Oh..i hear they make wonderful companions. I know Im not helping but thrre are rescues full of tiny lil as#es that need homes lol

Good morning and happy weekend all!

Rudy seems a bit better this morning. Still very stiff and walking hunched up, but was able to get off the porch without help. I’m trying to watch him when he doesn’t know I’m watching because he fakes being okay.

@lupinehorror I’m getting the global warming, you’re just getting climate change. Actually I think you’re getting my weather. So are a few other people. Sorry ‘bout everyone’s luck.
I don’t know whose weather I got, but it works for me.
Glad that Rudy seems a bit better. Still feel that the vets might be a good idea though. I think I read somewhere that those breed type can be in immense pain without showing it much.

Hugs

That’s true. And unless you know what to look for, it’s easy to miss. For my Pom, it was panting. I mean he’d be warm and pant, but if not that, it was pain. For Rudy, it’s the way he holds his head, and his walk.

He’s at a point where there’s nothing more they can do for him. I have something for pain, but he won’t take it, makes him sick. So if he has to go to the vet, it’ll likely be his last ride. Honestly it’s amazing he’s made it this long with the bad heart - even the vet didn’t expect that.

And on a happier note, vape mail. I sent something out too, and postage recently increased. Just FYI, in case anyone is planning on shipping anything.

What is that little silver Squonk Thing That I see there?
That's a little single 18650 regulated squonker called a Kudos. Rob is right lol - the Kudos is the cause of my ranting and raving, foot stomping and over-posting.
I loved it from minute one and have hated it in equal measure since it started playing up.
Thought I was pretty damned clever when I found the fault. The Fates giggling at my assumption that a patched wire would put me out of my misery.
Wasn't to be. Sniff.

It appears my SL Class is bricked. I did have it for about a year so it isnt quite as bad as having a new mod die. It had been a while since I used it and tried it out... nothing. Tried every battery I have and still nothing. I loved that mod. SX Mini is a Chinese company so I am thinking I'll wait until shipping returns to normal and send it to them to be fixed.
As far as regulated mods go I am down to 2Minikins, 1Kodama, I Colossal, and an Aegis Solo. My mechanicals never let me down.

That surprises me. At that price range I'd expect a minimum of 3y. I benched mine a few weeks ago, might get it out and fire it up for a week or so.

I'm terribly sorry such a lovely little mod. It really sucks when something that is so cute fails you.... there's a lot to be said about mix when it comes to squonking cuz you don't have to worry about the E-liquid messing with your chip

I noticed that there's a lot of people who like to buy multiples of rda's and rta's and I was just wondering like what are some of the benefits? Is it so you have multiple colors to match things or so you can run the same RTA or RDA on multiple different mods at the same time or am I over estimating the longevity of the average metal RDA?

I do for color match and because I will want to use them eternally. Also, I tend to have long spans of time when I’m not able to rebuild and wick, so it’s nice to have a bunch of atties ready to go. Like when my mom was sick. They got funky and stopped working well and I just chucked them in a tub and grabbed another.

As to how long they’ll last... who knows? I haven’t worn one out yet, but I haven’t really used any for over two years. I’ve replaced a few O rings, 2-3 glasses.
