I think I just never liked the idea that rayon shrinks. It’s hard enough to get cotton tight enough, and that supposedly expands when wet.
This is one of the things that has made me slow to experiment with rayon. I bought a box of it a while back, though, so I guess I plan to try it out someday.

That surprises me. At that price range I'd expect a minimum of 3y. I benched mine a few weeks ago, might get it out and fire it up for a week or so.
Mine has taken a few tumbles but nothing too severe. I could open it and see if it is a loose wire or something but I think I will send it to the pros since I did pay a lot for it. Yours is probably fine. I tend to be hard on my mods. I

I noticed that there's a lot of people who like to buy multiples of rda's and rta's and I was just wondering like what are some of the benefits? Is it so you have multiple colors to match things or so you can run the same RTA or rda on multiple different mods at the same time or am I over estimating the longevity of the average metal RDA?

A complete set of replacement parts.

I bought a few RDAs because I thought the ideas behind their air flow or coil placement would work well. In reality I often found little to no difference between them. The stand out was the B2K, which I love. The atty was near perfect for me.

The one I seemed to like the least was the Dead Rabbit. It was good but I just never got it.

I buy more than 1 if it is something I love using, and want it on more than 1 mod. Plus most things end up discontinued, so I buy it while I can.

So for me it's normally same RDA on different mods - which are sometimes the same mod, but different colours :D

I have multiples of the ones I really like. I want to have those functional for years to come. I have been doomsday prepping for a while now and if one part breaks on an atty or mechanical mod, i will keep the rest for parts if I need them down the road. I have a few colors and pei caps for my Axials but most my other attys are either black or stainless.

I assume that threads on a tank are eventually going to strip out, especially on parts that are unscrewed often for filling. It just seems safer to get extra complete RTAs than to try to stock repair parts. Especially when I can find them at clearance prices.

If I like an atty I buy 2 or 3 so I can vape them into the future long term.

    Hi Sara

So ok I won't say fine. My infection (which is fungal) is rapidly getting better and damage caused has been reversing itself so I hope that by the end of my antifungal meds my lungs will be near as damnit back to their status from before. I will then start to wean myself off the oxygen...hoorah.

Am loving being back home. Six weeks in hospital is no joke. I actually went back yesterday for a consultation and then transfusions for my anemia and I was quite surprised at how bad it made me feel being in the hospital room again....I really appreciate what they've done for me and after full recovery it will be worth it but it was one of the roughest things I've ever been through :)

They still are not sure why my bone marrow is having trouble making heamoglobin and platelets. My white blood cells are doing ok. They said that they want to test my bone marrow if it doesn't clear up in a couple of weeks. In my view it was the strength of the chemo that has done it. They've admitted that I seem particularly sensitive to meds generally...much more than the average.

I try and keep myself moving around and I do my excersises regularly. I lost a lot of muscle mass in hospital and I need to keep moving to get out of the constant feeling of fatigue. Most of my family are in the UK and Australia but we talk via videophone and we have lots of supportive friends here so I feel loved....

Well hoping you have a relaxing weekend and that your efforts are gradually paying off too. Recovery is always quite slow....from stem cell treatment they tell me three months and I know that your hip may be longer. The most important thing is to keep doing the excersises which you've been shown.

Sending hugs to you Sara

Hugs back to you as well. I’m glad you’re getting better!!
