goodbye
So if anyone happens to purchase the Lost Vapes Centaurus and has leaking in the 510 into the battery compartment of the mod apparently that's perfectly fine and you should just not use tanks that have ejuice or a rebuildable that might have a slight amount of leaking.. it wasn't leaking badly it was a tiny tiny leak from a rebuildable atomizer probably two drops of eJuice and it found its way into the battery compartment there was no visible Ejuice on the top of the mod so it definitely wasn't a bad leak. It's kind of confusing that every other Chinese company that puts out products way less expensive than Lost Vape does not consider having an unsealed 510 to be okay but a supposedly high-end company thinks that's just perfectly fine. When I bought the luxotic I knew that it had a leaking problem and I had to modify it. I paid $7 for that so I was fine with it I paid even less for this because I simply won it. And it was becoming my favorite mod because it's beautiful and it's a DNA. I just wanted people who may be considering purchasing it to know that they may need to modify the product or use it without eJuice.

Now I didn't pay for the product I won it otherwise I would be furious. It'll make a very pretty paperweight.

From Lost Vape
"Dear Patricia,
I got a reply from our quality team.
Our chips is eliquid proof, this situation would not affect the function.
And please the leaking is because of your tank, if the tank is leaking badly then please replace another tank.
Thank you so much!"
I wasn't expecting a return or anything just some suggestions or at least acknowledgement that they just don't seem to be able to manage 510s. I'm still happy that I won it. I just don't want anyone to purchase it thinking that they're going to receive a product that was manufactured to be used with eJuice. It's completely possible that this is a one off.. but the general idea that a device shouldn't be made in a way that ensures it doesn't Leak with the slightest presence of eJuice may come as a surprise to some people as I feel it's pretty industry-standard to acknowledge that e-cigarettes may come in contact with e-juice and should be protected. I'm glad that they sealed the chip

Hi Ava. I don't know if there is one in the Centaurus, but several of my mods have a small rubber o-ring down inside the 510 connector that keeps fluid from leaking down in the circuits. If it doesn't, it might be worth the effort to see if you can fit one down in there. :)

@AvaOrchid yes Ava I agree with Rob. This is actually a common fix which has been the staple cure for several mods. The lost vape Drone suffered a similar problem and this was the cure although not every unit was affected. I've got the dimension somewhere but I think it's 1mm x 3mm from memory. Need to check but hope that helps.

@Letitia hope you're well. I don't suppose you'd share one of your simple fruit recipes with me? I can't seem to stop myself from putting creams in because I'm not sure whether just fruit is ok....if you see what I mean.

Is it just as simple as adding just apple for example for a just apple vape??? Me I always tend to overcomplicate things and I'm getting fed up with the fruit flavours as they steep with creams as they all lose their distinction between the different fruits and just end up tasting like creamy fruitiness :)

Your help would be appreciated.

My Super Special Vape Mail arrived earlier today all the way from Stabwood Sara's House of Wood:banana::banana:
I would like to thank @Fidola13 from the bottom of my heart for all of her help with these two mods:wub::wub:
My collection would be empty without them, especially the Thor 1:hubba:

Sara's Thor is the first stabwood mod I ever saw, way back when she first posted pictures of it. I'm quite jealous that you got it but very glad you found a way to get it shipped to you.

Yes you can't beat Stabwood and apart from the main stream stuff like the Thor etc and other Asmodeus stuff there is a huge industry out there of individual small makers producing what can only be described as works of art....some more difficult to get than others but nearly all selling on FB and all exquisite. If I could justify spending the money this is all I would vape with. They're all DNA boards and the attention to detail is amazing. The costs are up to 500 GBP and there's the rub it's just too much when you think of some of the decent enough gear you can get for far less....Asmodus included.

Happy vaping Zaze :)

Computer issues for the last 3 days have kept me distracted and cleaned out my bank acc but I did manage to grab another Vapesnail from FT. On way.

Hope you're all well and happy

Same here, the old Q9550 finally gave up the ghost a few days ago and a shiny new MSI Infinite is inbound. I was in IT for way too long, couln't be bothered sourcing all the parts these days so a prebuilt was good for me.

@AngeNZ @Aliraonz are these dollars like Aussie or Kiwi or something or is all these expensive? it has coiling jigs this which is good. but you whreelly need them elbows..

after i gave everyone a headache i boght the Wotofo tool kit, it had the stuff i felt i need, including the elbow tweezers. dieses:

Authentic Wotofo Vape Tool Kit for DIY Building

at the time i didn't think i'd be wrapping so i didn't mind their jig which is more for placement than wrapping, though you can wrap with it i guess.

i got this in the end, which i does remmocend
    $5.08 YC Vape E-Cigarette Wire Coiling Jig Tool Kit - 2mm + 2.5mm + 3mm + 3.5mm heads at FastTech - Free Shipping

prebuilts i've only tried N80 cheap stuff for DL. Coilology and Wotofo. Quad Cores and framedstaplefused/aka multistrands i recommend for flavour and thicktexture. i do not recommed simple/dual fuseds or simple round. i have yet to try flat stuff (though i've PITA'd angie and everyone else abtem on more than one occazyonne, just too lazy to place an order)

wrapping DL i've only done Wotofo Quads. easy and really good. not as cheap as coilology but not unreasonable. I'm not sure if i'm ordering wtofos framedstaple or coilology's multistrand spool next (same thing). i'm also going to try aliens and flats. been in cart(s) for months now, but so has my backache, lol.

Yeah, they were all in $NZ. $1nz is about $0.65usd, so the prices were fine - especially when you can get them in your mailbox the next day.

If you have some links at FT for your favourite coilology/wotofo tri/quad core pre-coiled coils and wire, and what wattage you use them at - I'm sure @Aliraonz would appreciate it

Any berry mix like FA forest fruit paired with cactus is refreshing. My go to is FF 3-4 & INW cactus 0.5-2.
Apple and raspberry is a good pairing. I like a kiss of pear as well. Good for a 3-2-1 one simple mix. I prefer apple 3 - raspberry 2 - pear 1. Any orange/tangerine paired with any lemon/lemonade tickles my fancy. Pear and blackberry with a dash of lime is good. Passion fruit and orange is another good simple mix. For single flavor go to FW blood orange at 3-4 with one drop of sweetness or a bit of meringue is tasty and can be vaped the next day if you push the orange. Any lemonade with pretty much any fruit is good. Blueberry pear is another pairing I enjoy. Couple drops of lemon brightens any fruit. Cap sweet guava is another good one to pair with most fruits. Guava, orange, lime is nice. I find INW white grapefruit is good alone as well. Really the list is endless. Just pick a couple three fruits you like and mix them up.

And our Shiny friend @Rob B. was the very handy delivery man and shipped Thor off to OZ when help was needed:wub:
