So if anyone happens to purchase the Lost Vapes Centaurus and has leaking in the 510 into the battery compartment of the mod apparently that's perfectly fine and you should just not use tanks that have ejuice or a rebuildable that might have a slight amount of leaking.. it wasn't leaking badly it was a tiny tiny leak from a rebuildable atomizer probably two drops of eJuice and it found its way into the battery compartment there was no visible Ejuice on the top of the mod so it definitely wasn't a bad leak. It's kind of confusing that every other Chinese company that puts out products way less expensive than Lost Vape does not consider having an unsealed 510 to be okay but a supposedly high-end company thinks that's just perfectly fine. When I bought the luxotic I knew that it had a leaking problem and I had to modify it. I paid $7 for that so I was fine with it I paid even less for this because I simply won it. And it was becoming my favorite mod because it's beautiful and it's a DNA. I just wanted people who may be considering purchasing it to know that they may need to modify the product or use it without eJuice.
Now I didn't pay for the product I won it otherwise I would be furious. It'll make a very pretty paperweight.
From Lost Vape
"Dear Patricia,
I got a reply from our quality team.
Our chips is eliquid proof, this situation would not affect the function.
And please the leaking is because of your tank, if the tank is leaking badly then please replace another tank.
Thank you so much!"
I wasn't expecting a return or anything just some suggestions or at least acknowledgement that they just don't seem to be able to manage 510s. I'm still happy that I won it. I just don't want anyone to purchase it thinking that they're going to receive a product that was manufactured to be used with eJuice. It's completely possible that this is a one off.. but the general idea that a device shouldn't be made in a way that ensures it doesn't Leak with the slightest presence of eJuice may come as a surprise to some people as I feel it's pretty industry-standard to acknowledge that e-cigarettes may come in contact with e-juice and should be protected. I'm glad that they sealed the chip
Hi Ava. I don't know if there is one in the Centaurus, but several of my mods have a small rubber o-ring down inside the 510 connector that keeps fluid from leaking down in the circuits. If it doesn't, it might be worth the effort to see if you can fit one down in there.
