No your not being nosy. He's just a much loved member here who doesn't usually miss a day and he suddenly went AWOL several weeks ago and despite phone calls etc we still haven't heard anything.
His daughter and boyfriend went down with covid a couple of months ago but recovered. Eskie escaped then but lives in New York where things were difficult. The truth is though none of us know what's happened nor where he is

I'm still trying but it's still just going into a voicemail or answering machine.... I have stopped leaving messages though, but we can still leave them so that's a plus anyway.

Nothing can be sold in the United States after the deadline that a PMTA hasn't been submitted on.
None of us really know when FDA enforcement will begin, but if some have their way it will be Sept. 10 so it's better to stay safe with important orders.
They don't have to be approved, but there does need to be an application submitted (PMTA) for it to remain legally able to be sold after the deadline.
We are currently in the window of time companies can continue to sell their products while preparing their applications - but not all will submit - and that window ends on Sept. 9.
