How did you even know that ? I'm devastated.
And Gene Wilder's greatest perfomance imo

EDIT: I take that back. Bride of Frankenstein was his finest hour
Just a stray bit of bad news that stuck in my head.

I didn't like that movie all that much, to tell the truth. I was very fond of the book, and, like most adaptations, it didn't measure up. Much better than the Depp version, though.

Hmmm... that guy is NOT a morning person! He needs rocket fuel. :thumb:

I learned early in life to steer clear of people like that in the morning. That LOOK is like a giant "Do Not Disturb" billboard. And why do so many wear that look throughout the Day??? I love being all happy with peeps like that. It seriously startles them, which amuses me.

My wife was not a morning person. Waking up for her was like a major engineering project. I would wake up with a big smile :D and she would say "don't even start" along with "come back in an hour or two".

I be like...
"GOOD MORNING WORLD"
...let's roll, adventure awaits!!!

And a good vape...

Wicks & Wire sells the Tripod for $126.04.
Some time after I ordered from them last year they ceased selling to USA customers. :(

As you know Wicks & Wires is in Canada.

I was told by them just a couple months ago that our FDA threatened to close them down :nah: which is why they stopped selling to us.

If I was their owner(s), and after speaking with a good international business law firm, I would have refused and sent the US blubbermint a giant poster with a very large middle finger. :)

They are the only Canadian company I know of where this sleazy tactic was employed.

I'm still trying but it's still just going into a voicemail or answering machine.... I have stopped leaving messages though, but we can still leave them so that's a plus anyway.

I really don't know at this point...
Thanks Opinionated. Not a day goes by that I don't worry about what's happened to him. Ted sent me a pm earlier so I know that Nolamel has been doing some searching. It seems likely that he's unwell for whatever reason but please let me know if there is any news.

Sending hugs

I get so ...... with those people that completely ignore common sense
When people without masks get near me, with mask, I cough a few times. They very quickly distance themselves from me. Their worried look is priceless.

Well, phooey. I did not know that. Too bad. I liked that place. Quite a tease that they continue to list prices in USD, though.

Thanks for taking a look at the Detonator, by the way. It arrived home safely today. Guess I'll get back in touch with Squid once the world settles down some to see whether it's worth sending it to them for repair.

You're welcome. I think it's worth sending it to them. It's a nice classy mod. I like that the Detonator can take a 21700. I now have one on my "wish" list.

I do the same and if that doesn't work I just tell them to respect the rules.

I just got done ordering a bunch of spare parts for my Kayfun Prime's and KFL19's. With those, my beloved Kayfun's are totally future proofed. And with that looming date this could be the last opportunity to do so. I honestly don't have any more "needs" for the vapocalypse.

Did they close down those giveaway threads we were tagging each other in? Or did i miss the drawing?
HTR, I'm pretty sure those all expired with winners drawn. There may be a couple new ones. Not sure, haven't checked.

Good afternoon, Shinies! Vaping emergency! My chocolate LG got stuck in my brand new Aegis Solo. And I mean stuck. Something went horribly wrong (I had to shove it in in the first place, which was obviously a mistake (note to self--don't force your batteries into your mods). So now it's stuck. I googled, some other unfortunate soul had a similar misfortune--used super glue and a pencil. Apparently there is a silicone ring somewhere there that probably got shoved in and holds the battery trapped. I shook and banged, no go.

So I glued the battery bottom to a random plastic cap about the same diameter as the battery and I'm waiting for it to cure, but it may not work. Do you think that a trip to a vape shop is in order? Can they help? I don't care about the battery, but I would hate to have to throw away a new mod...

My Solo's take chocolate LG's fine. No tightness whatsoever. They even take the Molicel P26A's which are thicker diameter vs all others and have a thicker wrap.

Is there the possibility that the clear silicone o-ring from the battery cap somehow came off and lodged itself around your battery?

That's easy to find out. Remove the battery cap and see if the o-ring is still on it. If it's not then it somehow came off and likely lodged in the battery compartment with your LG.

Also looking inside the battery compartment there are no o-rings or anything else installed in any of my Solo's. The only silicone o-ring is the one that is on the battery cap.

See my photo with a choc LG and o-ring on battery cap...

    Morning shinies ;)

Ordered Axial RDA no. 4. I got it in gold this time to match one of my dotsquonks :D
AR eLiquid's $10 Axials are getting low in number if anyone else wants to get one while you can:
    Axial RDA
I used code OhmCan15 for 15% off, or if you've used that one already - VAPEON for 10%

I had a friend that had luck sticking the whole thing in the freezer for a few hours. Took it out, tapped the battery out. It was snug, but it worked for him.
    Good Luck 2.jpg

EDIT: On my Aegis Max, the silicon ring is part of the battery cap, not the battery tube. I don't have a Solo, so I can't compare.
