Thanks Daniel....did a thread search and found it. I'm going to try the clone and if I like it I'll get the og :)
Good choices Charlie. And I hope you like your SQuape A[rise].

I have my mine on one of my Mixx mods today. It's a very lovely and super flavorful vape. The Arise has ascended to nearly the top RTA spot here. No problems or issues whatsoever.

Pretty sure you will find building and wicking the Arise to be a pleasure. It's quick and easy.

I hope you and the Mrs are doing well.

Honestly Mel I wouldn't sft either. I'd just pair each one with a single complimentary flavor.
That's what I've been doing with MF flavors. A few I've used two flavors I know really well. The only SFT I've done with MF so far is their guava because of how strong it smelled compared to any of the others. And I did that at 1 drop / 10ml base. I don't do many SFT's anymore. Just jump in and create something is how I like to roll with new flavors.

And Leti, you are spot-on with MF flavors coming to life steeped longer than 4 weeks. I thought most were just so-so at a month. Stuck them back in a drawer and tried them 6-7 weeks out and yes they have blossomed and come to life.

Thanks SMT I can't see the Arise taking the top spot over my Dvarw's but I take your point....we shall see.

I guess I thought you could mess up the wire too. Good to know that is not a problem.
The only time you can really mess up, destroy, wire is if for example you are using SS316L (or any SS wire type) and during a dry burn to clean it, or a new build, you get it brightly glowing. If so it is trashed. That's not good for 316L or any SS wire.

SS316L should only be dry burned via pulsing to a dull orange(ish) and normally between 14-20 watts depending on wire gauge.

AVS has a whole page dedicated to cleaning 316L wire and a couple videos.

I will be looking forward to your thoughts on the Arise. I would have a very tough time choosing between a Dvarw, Kayfun or the Arise for the number 1 spot. All 3 sit squarely at #1 for me. Any one of those makes for a mighty fine vaping experience.

Dog's name is Carli. She does answer to Charlie, yes she does!!! Been calling her that since she was a pup.

And she also answers to Dog. I call her Dog a lot. :D

    Morning shinies ;)

I appreciate you all helping me understand this stuff a bit better. I spent so many years using regular drop-in coils and mostly in direct lung tanks. So I still had it in my head that low ohms = high wattage. But drop-in coils and wrapped coils are very different from each other.

@AngeNZ, you mentioned that you didn't care about resistance until you started using unregulated mods. Why is that? I only use regulated mods, but I wanted to use the right wattage because I figured if I didn't I would burn or mess up my coils.

With my regulated mods and a new coil, I always start at a low wattage and keep going up until I'm happy with the flavour and vapour.

If at that wattage, the atty gets too warm for me - then I know I need to knock off a wrap or two for that coil or use a smaller coil id.

And I only burn wicking - when I forget to juice it first
