I do think that I would prefer a little tighter draw on the DL. I'm surprised that FT doesn't sell them.Wicking the DL FL is the same as it is for the MTL Dvarw's. See @AngeNZ's blog.
The Dvarw DL FL ships with a 2x2.5mm AF insert which is 3.54mm AF.
Have you considered trying one of the more closed off AF inserts??? IIRC correctly you're currently enjoying more of an airy MTL so I'm thinking you might like the 2.5mm insert. It is nice and airy. I'm not sure if FT sells any of the optional AF inserts for the DL FL.
KHW Mods sells all the inserts. They have 2.5mm, 3mm, 2x2mm=2.83mm, 2×2.5mm=3.54mm, 2x3mm=4.24mm and a blank insert for DIY drilling your own AF preference.
KHW ships super fast. My last order arrived in 3 days via DHL. When I bought my DL FL I got the 2x2mm, 3mm and 2.5mm inserts (last 2 are single hole inserts). I enjoy switching them up all the time.
Currently I have the 2.5mm insert installed with a 3mm ID 26/36 316L clapton at 0.6 ohms and for me it's perfect for a nice airy MTL to a restricted DL. I vape the DL FL all over the place with wattages, 14.5w to around 35w. I'm MTL'ing at 30w with it right now. Although I do like a good Frankenvape (MTL on a DL rba). Thanks Ange!!!
Oh yeah, if you want an airier vape in your Coppervape Dvarw MTL's FT sells all the AF inserts.

Thanks for sharing that. With it being labeled as MTL I didn't even bother looking at it for the DL. On the wishlist they go.If you want the single hole inserts for the DL FL:

Do you see the face? It looks like a person blowing smoke! View attachment 931679
Great, that will be in my next order. I do wish that FT sold multiples of a single insert size. For example, like a 5-pack of 1.5mm for the MTL FL. That would make sense to me to package them that way.FWIW, I have a 2.5mm insert in my DL FL Dvarw and the airflow is very nice.

Some might disagree but I find the single hole af on the older DL to be a smoother vape than the dual hole af of the DL FL. On my DL clones I've tried all the sizes available and personally prefer the 3.5mm but it's up to you.
Dvarw aficionados like @Robfisher @ShowMeTwice @AngeNZ @charlie1465 and others might be able to give you more info.
EDIT just saw SMT's post!

So that's 16 and 1/2 pages of drip tips. What's on the last half page?I finally got my FT wish list down to 17 pages![]()

I got this in the latter part of 2020 - Asmodus Pumper 18 with a Bunker on top. I gave it several applications of mineral oil and Howard's. The colors got darker and richer and black stripes emerged. She's a beauty. If you have some, cherish your Asmodus stabwoods. They haven't replenished their stocks in months.
If you tweak it in light room you can bring out the shadows a bit but there's know way to do it in camera except to increase the exposure but that will make the shot even worse probably.....hand held. You can usually go to 1/30 of a second without inducing hand shake but that will be really difficult with a heavy lens.....tripod is best but then that's often at the expense of tracking the subject. It’s really hard to get any detail with the backlighting. And so far away. I know there’s a trick to it, but none of my bird people want to share lol. I do see them often though. Very cool birds. I bet I have 100 images of a dark silhouette with a white tail
