Lol It is so quiet and peaceful! There are literally no noises up there except for the wildlife :)

I love places like that. No noise except for nature. Surrounded by trees. It’s been such a long cold winter, I’m entirely starving for that walk.

I use it between 16-19 watts depending on my coil. I use Ni80 Clapton's at 0.5/0.6....make sure that your wick is just right....watch this video of the Exocet method...

Thanks, I will do some experimenting with the wicking and the wattage. I know my preference is for a cooler vape and not higher wattage. This is my first time vaping DL in awhile.

their call is the sound of my Burbank and always tells me I am home
When I had my first baby, we lived in an upstairs apartment and there was a pair nesting right outside the window. I got to watch from before they laid eggs through the chicks fledging for two seasons. We raised our babies together and they’ll always have a special place in my heart.
It was so cute as the chicks grew, they were so fluffy. They looked twice as big as the parents and the poor nest was overflowing. There were 3 chicks, and the five of them would put their beaks together, and the parents would teach them to flap their wings.

My wife Veronica Vapes MTL and she gets on well with a low wattage DL :)

I get 3 seconds, max, to snap these little guys. And you can see what I’ve said before about shooting around instructions, in bad light, into the light or into the shadows. It’s really challenging. My goal is to get an eagle in flight. Then I’ll feel accomplished lol.
I'm sure you'll get one: they're pretty slow when they're gliding.

These are some of my locals. Most are common everyday birds, but this is the first white-capped and bluebird I've seen in my yard.
Those are totally awesome. The very last one "downy flight.jpg" where you got it just taking off from a branch and before its wings got deployed is really cool.

It’s really hard to get any detail with the backlighting. And so far away. I know there’s a trick to it, but none of my bird people want to share lol. I do see them often though. Very cool birds. I bet I have 100 images of a dark silhouette with a white tail

Amazing. My story is a bit similar but also very different. When my eldest daughter was about to leave for college, a pair of hummingbirds built a nest right on our front porch. As she was packing her things, the baby hummers were growing. My daughter and the hummers left the nest almost on the same day. We had two empty nests. The same happened again two years later when my younger daughter was leaving for college. We wept and wept for days...

Very lucky to have a view of a hummingbird nest! I have several ruby-throated in the summer but have never been fortunate enough to see a nest. And that’s another goal, getting a decent hummingbird capture.

Earlier I said I have always loved the sky...I have taken pictures of the sky since I got my very first camera as a kid. So years ago here at my house I saw the coolest cloud I have ever seen in the sky, and of course I took a picture of it :) it took me a bit to find it in my Dropbox. I hope you guys think it is as cool as I do!

Awww! I love hummingbirds! I helped a young one eat years ago, and I treasure that experience :)
