I grew up on them. I can't believe I let my anatomy go through so much agony this last few years, with all kinds of different saddles. :-x

I should've got a Brooks from the start
Yes compressed neuticles are no fun.... especially as you age...they just don't spring back like they used too :D

Mind you there's always a new pair of....well neuticles

Morning shinies ;)

Definitely. I don't know how many times I've rewicked a coil, and then rewicked it half an hour later - because I'd overstuffed the muffin.

And then of course I understuff, and it sounds like a Harley Davidson :facepalm:
Understuffing the muffin ??? I'm shocked :lol::lol:

I've already tried the Brunhilde.... fantastic flavour. You weren't wrong. I tried it when they sent me the wrong colour and I opened the box without looking at the colour first. I was vaping it for a few days before I sent it back. The only issue I had was a gradual move to a dry hit and I had to tip the tank every so often. I didn't fluff the tails though so I'll be doing that this time. It may be due to my style of vaping though... we'll see :)

I know....I'm going through an unenthusiastically challenged patch  I've been doing a lot of DIY too so I have so many setup's going it's difficult to justify yet another mod and tank.

So back from shopping for food and picking up meds for my pops.
First thing i did was go to my friends shop, got me some new coils for the Arbiter Solo RTA,reading at 0.29ohms.

Been using at 30's watts, still need to find the sweet spot but is it supposed to be this turbulent?
Not sure if it's the wicking or if it's supposed to be like this, not a smooth draw but more like a gurgling sound but not gurgle,it's just turbulent with a slight crackle, not much but just a tad.

Apart from that the flavor is FANTASTIC,but the sound is putting me off a bit,i know it's not flooded otherwise the gurgle'y sound and slight spitback would be there so it must be turbulent, but that much?

Rewatched 3 of the videos i had bookmarked and none of them make the same noise...odd.

I don't know about the Arbiter but the slight crackle is a good thing it means you've got just the right amount of wick in there. If it's an SS coil it'll crackle away nicely and may pop on the first draw when you've left it overnight. Have you tried playing with the coil positioning??

Coils are Full NI80,still haven't fiddled around with it.
Later when i get some spare time i will rewick it and make sure the coil is placed correctly, might be that...my old Juggy Mini sometimes made that same sound when the wicking wasn't done right.

You'll need to keep those on storage charge though??
Not sure Charlie. I haven't done much research about storage of lipo batteries. What I've read suggests storage at around 3.85V per cell and at low temps and low humidity.
If you or anyone else reading this knows more I'd appreciate the info.

I know a bit because of my phantom drone. I have a battery charger which takes three batteries and it can be set to storage which idles the lipo's at the correct voltage....maybe see if you can get something similar??

I'm convinced some tanks just makes better flavor than others. Yeah you can tweak it to make the best flavor that specific tank can, but it still can be pale against another tank's flavor.
What i'm on about, is why it makes better flavor than the other one. It has to be about it's design...and that becks the question. What element/s of it's design causes it to make the better flavor?
I'm fairly convinced that you are correct that some tanks just make for better flavor. And I'm going to take the guesswork out of it by talking about subohm tanks that all take the GT cores.

There are at least 10 tanks that take those coils (they're the baby beast coils basically) and I have five different tanks that take these coils cuz they're the only sub coil that I really enjoy. And the difference that I get with the same factory made clone coil out of the same box is noticeable. The only thing different is a slight variation in the tank.

I have the Cerberus tank I have the vaporesso Cascade and the Cascade baby as well as this other tank that I don't even think has a name that came with The wotofo Flux mod And also one of the Asmodus tanks that take baby beast coils and I'm telling you they are not all created equal. The one that has the best flavor with the exact same carbon copy coil is actually the unnamed wotofo flux tank lol The asmodus one you're not getting any flavor out of these coils in that tank You might as well not bother. The Cerberus is the second in line and then the actual vaporesso tanks are fine too. They're in the middle. But this is the exact same coil with no user error allowed because it's a subohm and I get vastly different experiences.

Of course that still could be subjective but it's the same coil so the shape of a tank related to your subjective desires I guess does impact strongly on flavor same juice and all of them too cuz I only vape two juices one for pods and one for tanks and RTA's

Morning Shinies....and yes I'm in one of my dodgy near the knuckle moods today :D

Building my Brunhilde and my Kreimhild ll rba today...am wondering how the Kreimhild rba will be for flavour....and will it leak

    Have a good one

I haven’t had any leaking with the Brunhilde rba and even let it sit unused s couple days. So far it’s been good.
