    Wow this is a rarity, I pre-ordered the Vaperfly Alberich with sourcemore, said expected ship date as May 25th, just got shipping notice :shock: two weeks early, hell yea :thumbs:

    Got so good hopes for it, I ordered 2 straight out, hardly ever do that, but am expecting to really like this tank :D

    I’m getting that tank for review next time. I wanted the Lindwurm too but it’s not in stock yet.

    That's a way to rain on someone's parade hitt lol.. But really it'll actually feel like Halloween even if it arrives sometime in early October

    The order I placed end of January that got lost in customs then got reshipped and stuck in customs again was delivered to me last week.

    The guitar is an old Godin Solidac I rescued. I had it gutted and redone with decent pickups, tone caps, better wiring and Schaller locking tuners. She is a player!

    It's setup as an H-S-H with a LR Baggs X-Bridge piezo bridge (internal preamp). Two 1/4" outputs (electric + acoustic). I can blend in the piezo as needed (separate volume). The tremolo is blocked off, no need for it on this guitar.

    I had some custom wiring done in order to select any pickup as a single or any other combination (near zero hum). The bridge humbucker is hot, so yes, it certainly is a rocker.

    Next up, I'm having a wireless MIDI hexaphonic pickup system installed so I can control my rack synths (and play them) and also cntrl my sequencers.


    And as you know very well, musical gear is a major rabbit hole. :D

    That is one bad abb picture. Reminds of the time my much older sister taught me how to pick mushrooms at the age of 7. Watching my toy train float through the wall was quite the experience.

    I agree it’s ridiculous to not include the BF pin. I didn’t get a pin when I reviewed it and if I remember correctly Mike Vapes commented on it in his video review. I don’t have to worry about it any more. Geekvape has decided to break ties with myself and at least two other people who write reviews here on ECF. They haven’t told us that but refuse to respond to our messages and emails since late last year. They could have at least had the decency to contact us if they were making changes. I did see that someone fro Geekvape is still running their section of the forum but will not answer pm’s.

    That’s disappointing. I’ve bought A LOT of Geekvape hardware and it’s been a favorite of mine. But I don’t like to hear that besides my “issue” with them that others have had problems as well. Disappointing.

    They never contacted you or the other reviewers to at least thank you and inform you that they are headed in a different direction? That’s just unprofessional imo.

    It lacked the bottom af pin. But rather than just send me the pin, they had me send back the entire thing for a new one, which I'm waiting to receive. I was waiting for the new one for a month and finally called them, and got "BTW, You first have to send us the original at your expense and here's the address." It still came out a couple of dollars cheaper than buying the pin and having it shipped to me.

    That’s right. Bigbob, Frenkyou, and myself have reviewed for them for a long time. Last October was the last time my rep replied. I tried sending the new rep here on the forum a few messages and that person has not answered any of my messages. Same with the other two I mentioned.

    I wonder why they wouldn’t exchange the one I had instead of telling me I had to buy the pin separately. Kinda pisses me off just a bit now. Not a lot bcuz it’s not worth it but they’ve dropped a few points on my vendor list.
