Ridiculous isn't it? UPS vary their prices a lot but not usually this much :w00t:
A package this size from US to OZ is usually about $50us with UPS!
About $50 is what I've paid for every package coming from OZ and a few other nearby countries (relatively speaking ). All were either UPS, FedEx or DHL.

I wonder... perhaps he was planning to ship a free gift with the Vanguard...

...and then, forgot to add a few more zeros to the cost of shipping.

My Mobb is still sitting in the unshipped orders pile
I'm contemplating the stirrings inside FT with all the shipping being sent back from their customs. They have to accept it back into their system...and then repay for another shipping.
Not good for their business
    And for us customers !

It's just as easy to ship international as domestic. We used to ship antiques all over the globe (DHL).

Now to find some more Good Wood!
I'm 100% confident you will find something very worthy of your collection.

I still haven't had anything at FT rejected from customs and resent to me. My Bxr eventually made it through the gauntlet and found a plane. And yes I'm tempting fate admitting this

How do you find out if it's been rejected, does FT let you know?

They do and they immediately reship. Luckily I've only had 1 package rejected before leaving China and still received it in 24 days.

I have been doing a bunch of reviews lately and this is my last one out of seven that I received in about 1-2 weeks. I hope you don't mind me posting the links here.

    Good morning wonderful folks,

Seems to me you’ve been getting plenty of products. Just ones you’ve ordered.
Well, true enough, been a hard summer on the wallet.
But now I'm starting to reach the goal, luckily it says.

@Tor R I forgot to post this the other day. FT has lots and lots of accessories for the dotAIO:

Thank you very much for the tip.
I have doubted whether I want to invest anything more in Dotmod, have sat down and started to draw something that has a better tc chip.

I had a rather heated discussion at a vape show yesterday.

It applied to the prices of Vicous Ant, the price of 3D printed mods, etc. One of the panelists thought that VA was a robbery. I said if you don't like the price tag then don't look.

I think Vicous Ant probably put more work into polishing all parts compared to the normal mass produced mod, and most of them have a very good design.

And, I don't understand the problem he has with high end brands, nowadays Evolv supplies chipsets for a whole bunch of mass produced mods, the selection of good chipsets has never been as good as it is now.

I myself buy mods from 7€ and the most expensive has been 525€ and unfortunately imports probably come on top of it. My four €7.40 Pico Baby are actually in daily use.
My purchases are always based on the chipset and that it suits my use.

Yeah they send an email notifying that it has been sent back by their customs. First time it happened, it took two weeks before they received it back.
This is my second time now.
I just roll with the punches...its the nature of the vaping hobby, and it helps me to fine tune my patience skills i'm working on :)
