My issue with the BP mods cotton is that it's collapsing after a very short period of time.

The Kumo alerted me.
I was getting a nice saturated vape and then after a day or two I was getting dry hits. When I looked into it closely I realised the tails, which I hadn't thinned out, were losing their bulk. The Kumo needs plenty of contact between wick tails and the wells for the capillary action tech to work - more than any other rdta I own.
So I changed cotton back to the 13feets and the problem went away.

Do you mean the old muji pads? I've got a big unopened bag - hundreds of pads - maybe I should break some out.
Originally I used kgd pads, for some reason I didn't care for muji. The cotton slivers are long continuous ropes, I get mine from Amazon. Short break-in flavor wise and wicks superbly from the word go.

I saw the Aquios review but somehow missed the other one. Thanks for the link.
I posted the Okino C100 this morning. I got tired Sunday and called it quits after the Aquios Bar Review. Your eyes are still sharp. /wink

No idea why the emojis aren't available...

I love how long Mavaton wicks last, I get 14-18 days per wick with my DIY flavored juices. Up to a month with flavorless.
It does cost more versus other cottons, but I think it's worth it.

I wonder if it might be more cost effective for you to purchase it direct? That's how I've always done it. Butch (the CottonMan) is excellent with processing orders and shipping. Just a thought.
Good idea but the problem is the shipping to Aus. If I bought in bulk it might be worth it.

    That's the 13 feets brand?
Been my go-to cotton but I've nearly run out. One packet lasted me a very long time.
I thought I'd bought mine from FT in the past but you reminded me it was Amazon. Means I can still get it - thanks.

I've got Cloud 9 cotton and it's brilliant, the best I've tried except for @Fredman1's Mavaton sample.
Great to know you rate Cloud 9. Might buy a tin and see how it compares to the others.

I love your organisation. I've got a wicking only coilmaster kit. And a separate new coil-building only kit. Because I'm a messy wicker, and drowned some of my wicking only kits tools
Much of what I have is the coilmaster kit.
I have expanded with a pair of Chinese cotton pick tools, and a set of Steampipes coiling rod kit, the latter is brilliant for mounting coils.
2FDeal has a much better selection of tools compared to 3FVape.

I switch off between Tidi Rayon Balls large (969162) and CottonMan's Mavaton's and Carolina Blend cottons in all my RBA's. Rossum turned me on to the Tidi rayon. There is near zero break-in time with it compared to CelluCotton rayon. No off-tastes.

Been using CottonMan's cotton since 2015. Up to that point I tried just about every cotton out there. I couldn't believe how much cleaner his cottons vaped versus all the rest. Very short break-in time. He is a cotton farmer, so yeah, I reckon he knows cotton. LOLz
I love the Mavaton. You and Charlie put me on to it. The high cost here puts me off a bit, but it's probably worth it in the long run.

Edit : Just ordered some from a local retailer.

I've got Cloud 9 cotton and it's brilliant, the best I've tried except for @Fredman1's Mavaton sample. But as a compulsive wickoholic, I went back to CB prime - purely because I got a lot more wicks out of each meter. So definitely keep Cloud 9 in mind.
Cottonman Mavaton is an excellent cotton, I have a couple of packs of it too.
One day I should set up two identical atty, same coil, same juice, with Cloud 9 and Mavaton.
Cloud 9 is much easier to use than Mavaton and I have been delighted with how well it wicks, and the flavor is also very good.
But Mavaton I remember was good, my two bags came from KHW.

    2 more Pulse mods,now i have 2 V2's and 2 V3's ;)

Bought another Nitrous RDA this time the Black Matte version that includes both the single and dual cap, might give dual coils a try one of these days.
Saw some good reviews from some friends here in ECF so I decided to get a Dovpo Samdwich RDA,just to mix things up,already got 3 Nitrous RDA hehe.
2 sets of panels for the V3,top ones go on the Blue Pulse V3 and the camo ones are for the Black V3,will post pics later if i have time, bit hectic today.
Then some nice coils that work perfectly with the nitrous RDA:

And for the piece of resistance 3 drips tips and some aroma.
I am officially tapped out but happy, now that i exclusively squonk i know i am all setup for long long time.

P.S: 48 on Sunday...dang time goes by so fast

    Morning shinies ;)

How is the bottle filling in the v3, compared to the v2? I love my v2, so I'm curious.

Filling is actually pretty easy, has one of those pod/boro like rubber tabs.
Just gotta watch the nozzle and not jam it forcefully inside, apart from that just a tiny little issue.
Bottle from the V2 was round so squeezed where you squeezed the e-liquid would go up and wet the cotton but the bottle of the V3 is rectangular in shape.
So when you squonk you gotta like put your thumb (or other finger) right in the middle or else you will hit a one of the sides and the squonk pressure you need to apply will have to be a tad more.

Not an issue ''perse'' i mean after using it for a full day i would just instinctually put my thumb in the right spot so its just something you need to get use to.

Oh and i forgot, refill wise you can also just remove the bottle and twist the top cap off and refill it like that.
A bit more work but its also a viable option.

Apart from that its the same chip but the UI looks different (its a meh for me,looks plain weird),edges are rounded on the mod and you can customize it a bit more, all in all a decent device.
