This may sound odd, but do you need to stretch the wire before you wrap it?
there are different schools of thought on that. I've never seen how the additional work is worth it but to each his or her own. YMMV

Maybe there's a market for vaper jewelry? Never thought of that before, could be a market gap. Could totally see some people going crazy over that.

Or just sell coils as jewelry and get around the FDA regulations

If it’s stained glass, some jewelry or guitar strings, you stretch. That’s why I asked.

Nah, the stapled fused alien is the first image from my last post,
That’s a beautiful coil
yep, that one.
What you posted is a staggered fused clapton with a flat core  see, you're already learning our language now.

Could totally imagine exotic coil styled jewelry being a thing, rings, bracelets, ear rings, pendants etc.
No idea why nobody did it yet. Maybe I'm also too lazy to look for it on the net

Now you peaked my interest ... I want to figure out how they make the wave.

how they make the wave
That's a multi step process. Let's take the easiest scenario with all same size wires (except the wrapping wire), let's say 26g.

First you make a clapton around one of the wires, that's just a tighly wrapped higher gauge around the 26g.
Then you remove the 26g core which leaves you with some flimsy spring-like outer wire.
This coiled up piece of wire is then slightly stretched.
Finally you wrap 3 parallel 26g wires with that so called "decore" but in the opposite sense that you did the clapton (so if clapton was anti-clockwise now it's clockwise and vice versa) with the right amount of tension and you get the nice wavy alien look.
That is the easy 3-to-1 version (there's multiple videos and methods on how you can do that).

You can also make wavy aliens around only 2 wires or even only 1 wire but then the gauge of the initial clapton core changes relative to your final step core(s), there's places on the net that list the relative sizes you need to do that.

Aren't y'all proud? She knows how to build a fused alien clapton even before making her first coil :D

Edit:
I'll throw in a short vid of sherlock hohms doing a method skipping the "stretch" step

There's a reviewer named Sherlock Ohms who sold hand wrapped "charms". Seemed to work for him.

I didn’t say I could do it, but for once I absolutely understand the description/method
