I hope that someday I can get to that point. Right now vaping is new for me and relatively inexpensive so until I get bored I will continue attending Shinyitis support group meetings.

Your attitude is a good one. As discussed on here before, for a lot of us the quest for shiny things can be a good part of breaking the addiction to smoking. It certainly was for me the first year and a half or so.

Oh man... If I had not kept myself occupied during my vaping switch (including all my oral surgeries without opiates) I am CERTAIN I would have started smoking again. I don't regret a single one of my exploratory (and sometimes slightly hazy) purchases.... Many of which I gave away to new folks who wanted equipment that was totally unsuitable for my style of vaping.... I KNOW I would have smoked again. ECF was LITERALLY a lifesaver for me, in fact that's why I included it in the manifesto.... :) UNCONTROLLED Shinyitis is better than smoking, even if it's MORE in the beginning (although I doubt it was).

I don't regret a single purchase, but I have reached a state of contentment with my vape equipment that keeps me happier. Even if I will be filling my "piggy bank" for a LONG time to come, making those early purchases kept me focused on vaping and learning new things NOT smoking. I even learned how to vape nasally...:lol:

IMO Shinyitis in the beginning can have some advantages, absolutely. :)

I love mine. I had heard a few people commenting about it arcing excessively so I put nooxit on the contacts and haven't noticed anything. Congrats on the purchase and on the collection! Let me know if you decide to thin the herd!

"in the beginning" is sort of subjective. I smoked for 30 years and if I vape for that long when does it stop being "in the beginning"? After 1 year, 2, 3? We'll settle for 10. So what you're saying is Shinyitis in the first 10 years can have some advantages! Thanks, Anna!!!!!

I tried that nasal vaping last night. It will be the first and last time. Didn’t care for it. Lol.

The sole purpose of nasal vaping/smoking is for when you cannot vape/smoke via your mouth. For instance after oral surgery when any sucking motion can bust stitches.

Attack of coil shinyitis going on here, and I'm giving in. AVS has new framed staple coils and a 25% off coupon for all orders. New25 good thru Monday.
Your post just made me realize what has been wrong with this thread from the start.
@jfcooley do you realize you got the words backwards in the thread name?
