Ah. Missed your reply, was hunting out the name of the device I was looking for, lol.

I know the uwell Crown 3 will work with SS setting, I'm sure there are others, but not which ones...

Thank you, I will definitely check it out!

Honestly, it depends on our tax rebate because we also just purchased our first home which is currently under top to bottom renovation! I'm thinking around $50- $100. I know I want higher wattage than 50, currently I vape at 33w. On a TC I was vaping at 400°f -450°f

@MrsWood - that is nice, detailed information. Thank you for taking the time to write all of that down. It helps a great deal in making recommendations to know what you like and what you don't like about equipment you own or have owned. I am so very sorry that you had that experience in trading. Some people are not trustworthy and take advantage of others. Sad but you learned a valuable lesson and you will end up with better equipment now.

I would recommend that you take a look at the Tesla Steampunk Nano 120 TC edition. It has some weight, yet is portable. The battery life is great. It does TC well. It is a rock solid mod and has an off/on switch, which is a bonus. I keep one of these on my counter (Copper) for testing DIY batches. I have given away two, a brass and a silver (SS), to two of my son's friends and they are head over heels in love with it. Some people complain that the battery door is loose, but I have never had my batteries fall out and neither have the two young men to whom I gave the mods. Fasttech has these mods for $38.77 but it will take at least two weeks (probably more) to get it from FT. Domestically, it can found for $49.99 at VapeWild.

Another workhorse mod that fills your requirements is the Smoant Battlestar. I like the shape of the Battlestar a bit more than the shape of Tesla, but that is a personal thing. I gave mine to my son and he loves it. It also has a great battery life, does TC well, and checks off all of your boxes. EightVape and ElementVape have the best prices I could find domestically - $39.95 at ElementVape and $36.99 to $49.99 at EightVape, depending on the color. I LOVE the Rainbow!

That is my two cents worth, based on mods I have used. There are many others that would work for you. I have no doubt you will be hearing about them from the other enablers here. :)

If you are looking for a tank that uses drop-in coils, the only one I have used lately is the FireLuke by Freemax, which I like very much. They come with two glass tanks, one hold 4ml and the bubble glass holds 5ml.

I use RTAs pretty much exclusively but other people will have suggestions for you. Good luck!

Okay you were posting at the same time. Budget rules out DNA. The new Aspire mods are proving popular and budget friendly.

Thank you so much!!! Now the issue I have is that I like them both! I love the rainbow but also love the copper of the tesla! I do like that the rainbow has 120w but know thay for now 80w would work as well! Good thing is that they're cheap enough so I could get them both! I haven't done anything with rebuildables as of yet mainly because of a general lack of knowledge.

Well, a good tank isn't cheap. I am so out of the loop on tanks that use drop-in coils, esp. for TC. I love the copper too. That is my favorite of the Tesla colors and it also the color of my son's Battlestar. We seem to have similar taste.

I could go higher in cost, especially once I sale off some of the mods I have(the working ones anyway). It is also dependent on what our permanent flooring ends up costing as well!

@MrsWood had to go look for the names. The Aspire Speeder and the Eleaf Invoke were the two that might work well for you. Pam's suggestion for the Tesla is another good one. Battlestar is a great mod but they did recall a bad run. Check their forum here for more info.

Another mod to check out is older, but in some ways superior to DNA devices at a budget price.
Very durable, and takes a monster of a battery that ought to hold you for a while...
And it's domestic.
HΩ SLICE (Hohm SLICE) Single 26650 101W Temperature Control Box Mod - Best Sellers
Use code SLICEDSLICE and it's yours for around 20, add in shipping and handling and it's still a steal.
Slice is a good mod but order silver. Paint is very bad for chipping on those.

Yes, we do! I've noticed good tanks are expensive but I know very little about coils. I just take the tank to the local shop and get one. I haven't been able to use the SmokJoy as much as I'd like due to a burned coil and not being able to find a place that carries a coil for it. I've been told to get a rebuildable coil but I don't have the first clue about how to do an rba.

If @MrsWood wants to learn to build, we can totally fix you up with matchy-matchy tanks that will NOT leak for any mod you choose. @Letitia and I both love the same ones. Very affordable too.
And if you want to learn to build, this forum is absolutely loaded with people who have bottomless wells of experience to draw from.
Especially considering you seem to be vaping on a budget, and drop in coils can get pricey, nevermind the issues of what to do when the supply runs out on one after its bought and suddenly discontinued, which happens all too frequently as far as I'm concerned...
Wire is cheap, and what you build yourself can be tinkered with to get the exact experience you want without having to constantly buy new items...
Not that that will stop any of us from buying unnecessarily, lol.

I saw Smok and cringed.
Some have luck with them, but in my experience Smok is VERY hit or miss with QC. Like 50/50 at best...

It isn't hard at all. There are great youtube videos you can watch that will walk you through the process. You can get an RBA and buy premade coils for it from a lot of great places that we can recommend. Once you get used to it, we can sell you a coil jig, wire, and lots of toys so you can make your own. Wicking is the key and again, youtube has a wealth of videos. Also, as @Joru'us C'baoth pointed out, any of us would be delighted to help you.

Take a look at the OBS Engine Nano tank - leak free, guaranteed, and the easiest tank out there for installing coils and wicking.

+1 for the Nano. Fair disclosure I'm quite biased when it comes to my Nanos. I will grudgingly admit there are other good rtas available.

IMHO, it is the best tank for a beginner as it is truly foolproof. I even know where one might find a rainbow nano if that is of interest.

Nevermind on the Rainbow - it is now out of stock from the only domestic seller I have found. I think that German shop still has some but the price of shipping is almost as much as the tank. I bought one from them because I really, really wanted one after I gave mine to Nate. It was worth it to me just to have it in my vape drawer.
