That's what current smokers really want, IMO
What they want and what they need may be different things. Looking back I'm glad our devices are nothing like smokes it creates sort of a gap to smoking. The maintenance/coil building thing is a nice addition to keep your brain busy and change behavior over time.

It's been almost a year since I really looked at pod systems. I was just getting back into vaping last spring and it was the cost that turned me off. There really are a lot more and nicer systems now, but the life cycle cost of them is still too high. For me, anyway.

I also enjoy the hobby aspect of this whole thing, and pod systems really don't encourage you to break molds are change the bar.

The stealth aspect is nice. I can get the same effect with a small box or pen mod and a 2ml tank.

I still think pods are going to be a big hit in the next year or so because they're not messy, fiddly, troublesome or weird looking. That's what current smokers really want, IMO.

I do agree that ease of use is what many smokers want...

The thing about the closed systems, and something @Baditude is more up-to-date and well informed on, is the FDA themselves are seeming to want to lean toward an atmosphere where the closed systems are what is available to vapers, and the open systems fewer and farther between, if any.

So... there is that possibility, if the FDA does go that route, which they have spoken of to the extent the worry is there. Closed systems (like pod mods) will be easier for them to regulate...

Sorry.. I woke up yesterday and made a decision, one which was rather unexpected even to me because I hadn't been considering it.. I just woke up on the side of the bed that says quit vaping, and I haven't taken a drag since.

I always said I'd quit again, and perhaps even be successful this time - so here goes again. Lasted 5 months last time.. lol.. let's see how long this time lasts.

I am not selling anything, not giving anything away, I will still be buying vape gear for the future, still looking forward to a purchase as soon as those lost vape paranormal comes out with the 250c (I've heard its the paranormal they are planning on putting that in, although that could be rumor. )

I'm just, weirdly done vaping ... lol.. for no reason. Going fairly well.. a little antsy, not too bad though.

I see that mod offered on VaporDNA but they are out of stock s the website states

Oh the paranormal is on the market... I'm speaking specifically of the DNA 250c chip.. it's brand new, not yet available to consumers but close to being released.

As soon as that board is released, manufacturers will put it either in a new mod or an existing design... EVOLVE released the dimensions of the board etc. So manufacturers have a solid heads up...

Some people are saying when the chip is released that lost vape will be putting it in the paranormal, but of course rumor is rumor.. might end up in something else entirely. .

But specifically. It's the board I'm after.. I'll be happy with any well made mod that its in.

How bout a pic of your new shiny?
I don't know how. The glue came off, but there are a couple slightly dark discolored marks left. May have to find some way to polish/sand /buff whatever it.

I couldn't agree more. And I still think that the average current smoker wouldn't put up with even my limited amount of fiddlin' around with stuff. There are a few people in my circle that are current smokers and one of them has the temerity to complain about how our cloud "smells bad."

I've also fruitlessly tried to get a few people to quit smoking by vaping and now I just don't try anymore. I just stay in my own hula hoop. They'll do what they wanna do, even if I think they'd be better off listening to me.

The 75c is already out and in a Therion 75c. The replay update will be available in the US for the 75c chip as well.

Yes I know the 75c is out.. but those are single battery mods. I may get one perhaps two, but I am wanting the 250c.

I was mainly referring to the material of the surface with the defect. If we had a pic and maybe a good guess as to what that material is (laquer, powder coat, bare metal) we could maybe work out how to treat it properly. You don't wanna end up with a thing that looks completely hoopajooped.
Like the Noisy Cricket II is zinc alloy as well but it has a coating, if you polish it too aggressively you end up with the bare metal and it looks like crap.
