That's okay, if it's just a little discoloration I'm sure it's just some ejuice leaking.. it's common enough.

If it happens again you can take a picture or three.

That said.. how many ohms are you running on that mech? What batteries are you running as well, is that the Sony VTC5A's?
It is and with the dual coil it read .16

If you think you will miss it I wouldn't. Why don't you just wait for the new Therion?
Actually I doubt I would. I use it maybe once a week. The dot has taken over.
I am waiting on a 20700 Therion, no hurry. I just have the opportunity to get an amazing deal on something (non vape) and would need to raise funds quickly. That's why I'm going back and forth, need to do fast.

Here’s the pick of the dual coil build
I thought we were talking about single coil...
That .16Ω dual build won't give you much battery runtime but if it tastes great who am I to judge ;)
Your drawing more amps on that than is in your battery
Not really but he's pretty much at the max output for a vtc5a. Shouldn't use older batteries for that and put new ones in on a regular basis with such builds.
Would recommend a different build with a little safety margin.

Unregulated mods have very little forgiveness for errors and the results can be bad. Read up on everything you can before using them. Had a Smok Magneto vent when the threads of the plastic plug gave out and engaged the fire button. It was scary. Put all the contents of the battery through the atty. Don't make me get Baditude.

That’s me. The dumb nube

We all were once... it's nothing to feel anything about.

Baditude, Mooch and other old timers are who I learned from.. they are the best with the most valuable information and are happy to impart their knowledge to you..

No insult here. Just love and truth.

Baditude's blog is a fantastic read for mechs and safety. It's a valuable resource, as is Baditude himself. If you're having questions about what is safe, what is marginal, and how to figure it out though, I'd say check out that blog. He's really good at explaining mech stuff in a way that makes sense and "sticks."

Since I own a mech, and will vape it someday, I follow a lot of the mech threads, and I've learned a lot doing so, (what to do, and what not to do) and I'm really glad I have. I'm not great at explaining things, but I do understand them. You may also want to check out some of the more interesting threads in the mechanical forum, there is a lot of useful information there.

I'm glad I approached it from that direction (to learn what I can before attempting to put it into practice) and I imagine when I get up and vaping it, it will be fun and probably a lot safer than if I jumped in at the deep end.

My main issue with mechs is going to be consistency and I doubt that I'll ever bring one out of the house, but who knows.
