I never had a problem installing fused claptons in mine. I really couldn't find much fault with it other than it wasn't very squonk friendly.

Squonk is not a factor for me maybe someday but I like my Teslacigs Punk and joyetech Primo 2.0 and I like to change juices too many times during my day that is one of the reasons I got into RDAs. And thanks to everyone needing to sleep I started looking at more stuff so now the Boaz by AVS has joined the race.

Ooh coil art, so shiny. My coils alas, are not Good morning shinyitis folk! Man, slept like a log I was tired...

Anna

I always found that saying a bit strange, I mean if you really think about it, it is just rewording of slept like the dead, but the dead do not sleep.

mech mods..my first is on it's way today from Cartel...Have done extensive research on these and it seems they are the most likely to have issues with shorting and causing catastrophic problems.. Watched several videos about these dudes building the cloud chasers with coils at .09 ohms. I was thinking that is so crazy with an 18650 battery. Am I correct?

Got the Boaz the other day, haven't built on it as of yet but it really intrigued me from the looks of the deck and not to mention the glow in the dark drip tip.. aka easy to find when waking in the middle of the night and not wanting to turn the lights on..:vapor:

For the inexperienced absolutely. Keep your builds .5 and above for now.

Extremely risky. The probability of a cell going into thermal runaway is very high and the consequences are life changing. There isn't an 18650 made that can safely output 47 Amps. Maybe once, but the second try...

So why would they do it?... Is this for those cloud chasers who just push the limits? I would never risk life and limb just to blow a :censored: cloud

To each his own in the vape world. There is a segment of experienced mech users that use extreme sub ohm builds. Works for them but they do not recommend it for new mech users.

Im sure it works for them, but the math doesn't calculate, I mean it's truly not about if it happens at that level it's when it will !

I am running .3 on my unregulated Squonkers currently, But i am also using 20700 batteries too
It is my understanding that unregulated and pure mechs are different. Could be wrong about that tho. .3 is safe enough if you pay attention to your batteries.

Because some other idiot posted a video of himself doing it first. And as millenial aged males are wont to do, others have to do it too or lose status in their peer group.

It's really not much different from eating tide pods.
