only brought one mod out with me today and while the therion is performing flawlessly i'm not terribly fond of not having a backup. back to dual-wielding tomorrow i think
you aren't the only one. my wife thought I was going overboard when I took 6 different setups with me on vacation. I explained that 4 were in the daily rotation and the other two were backups.

oh i've got plenty of backups (plenty!) but this morning i was feeling a bit gallus and didn't bother picking one up. still have 4 x 18650s and two bottles of juice in jacket pocket though. tomorrow it'll be the brass ice spider as my second i think.
edit
the J80 sounds interesting though...
I love it as a backup because it is tiny but 80w. with a 2000 mah battery. I always have my phone charger though. Gets me through in a pinch and is more convenient than carrying batteries. I am surprised with the 20700 Pulse. I have had to use the j80 once because I forgot to charge my battery before work.

any of you Shiny folks tried the Berserker MTL RDA yet? Been hearing good things in other threads but thought I'd check with my Shiny brethren before I pull the trigger
i've got one and have dabbled with it a good bit. easy to build on, great way of adjusting the airflow beneath the coils and you can get as restrictive a draw as you like with the AFC. the beauty rings help it look a bit more normal on a decent sized mod too. i'd say pull that trigger.

For that reason on single battery mechs I tend to do 20ga. single wire builds or single coil if i want claptons.

I would never do this on a single battery mech, but then I'm a Scot and tend to be a tightwad. I always build with the least amount of the thinnest wire I can get away with.

Quicker ramp up and more surface area. If I use more than one wire for extra metal, I'll just twist some 28 or 30ga.

28 twisted is nice to work with. 30 twisted less so. But still a nice vape. I'm still playing with builds in my pulse 24.

Vacation in San Francisco got me vaping again this time. I had brought along the Pico for some reason.
I wasn't really vaping at all at the time. I ran out of cigs the morning of the second day. Went to the liquor store and generics were $13 a pack! I got cigs later but the seed was planted, and after a month I was vaping full time.

The 20ga. Does take a bit to ramp up. I have a single 26/32 Clapton on the DRSQ @.24 and that one rocks. Ramps up quick and hits just as good I think as the dual coils in the 24mm Rabbit. I actually want to get new single coil attys for my 22mm tubes now. I like it better. All my old RDAs are small 3 posters and i am tired of building on them.
