There was never going to be a faster under NN. There might be without it because those with the willingness and means to pay can do so.
There is no content-based throttling now and no plans for it anytime soon. There might be content-based acceleration though, and those who want it will have to pay for it. Those who don't pay won't be throttled. They just won't have access to the faster.

However just remember...Comcast, AT&T, Verizon. None show a history of consumer first.

My dog wakes me up every morning between 6-6:30. She sits by my bed and whines and huffs and barks. I get up to let her out to pee (which she never has to do as she always goes out about 11pm the night before) I usually stay awake because three times a week we walk at a local walking trail with friends. I do not walk on Tuesday and Thursday. I am sure she is waking me up because she thinks the walk is in order. Wish I had a way to teach her to read a calendar because from 7-8 she will just stare at me waiting to see me get ready and put on my shoes. On walk day, I go to wash up, brush teeth etc and she starts in. Pacing back and forth past the bathroom door, sort of whining. I get dressed and she is all over me, winding in between my legs. Sit down to put shoes on and cannot even tie them for her nose poking through the laces...She is beside herself now. By the time I pick up the harness and leash she cannot even stand still for me to put it on. My dog has taught me a lot. Happiness in the moment is one. The importance of a walk is another.

Yep. It would be boring and unproductive if we all agreed on everything and it's important to challenge ones own views from time to time. The culture of doing that seems indeed quite dead (outside of hard science fields I don't see much of it).

Nothing in the First about lobbying. Redress of grievance is not lobbying. They can write a letter to their congresscritter, same as any other citizen can. What makes you think they deserve to be listened to over and above a citizen?

morning all.
not been terribly shiny of late but did have a small bout of enthusiasm this morning.
built and wicked the engine II. just used the coils it came with and rayon of course. a very satisfying vape i must say. new DIY peach custard is quite tasty also though think i'll leave it to steep for a week or so longer.
also wound a couple of coils using some Ni80 fused clapton wire...they are rather, err, low...
Ok I need your peach custard recipe! I’m mixing up some juices that need to steep soon.
